It’s a beautiful quiet clean well maintained Homestay with all facilities a few km ahead of Jibhi in a peaceful village. I loved my short stay here. They served good homemade food for dinner & breakfast. Chahat the host is very friendly and courteous.

The property offers a comfortable living experience with well-kept and luxurious cottages along with delicious meals. I would suggest trying the activities and trekking available during the stay.

Beautiful location, no doubt about that. But I want to save other working professionals from wasting days of leave unnecessarily. Internet: The place is in a dead zone—only Jio network works, which is just enough to see a call but not answer it. That’s understandable. What’s not okay is that this isn’t mentioned during booking, and the WiFi they advertise was down for half our stay. If your property is in a connectivity dead zone, reliable WiFi isn’t a luxury, it’s essential for safety and remote work. I lost two days of leave because of this, with no warning or apology. Cleanliness: We love nature and went to the forest, but we didn’t appreciate finding scorpions on the bed and spiders in several corners of the room after a long trip. When we reported this, Chahat basically said, “You’re in the forest, what did you expect?” Sir, we expected the room to be cleaned before check-in—that’s hospitality. Saying “tell us and we’ll try to remove them” isn’t acceptable when there are scorpions on the bed. Checkout: We asked for breakfast by 9:30 AM on checkout day, a time given by Chahat himself. At 9:30, nothing was ready. When we asked, we were told homestays don’t have hotel-level punctuality. That’s fair, but you gave us that time, so you should stick to it. The location is stunning, but location alone doesn’t run a property. If you’re traveling for leisure without time or connectivity needs, maybe this works. But if you expect basic hospitality standards, look elsewhere.

My stay at Misty Wilds Home was truly delightful. The charm of this place lies not only in its tranquil environment and stunning mountain views but also in the kindness of the host, Chahat. Chahat is very humble, warm, and sincerely caring. From the moment I arrived, he welcomed me warmly and was always ready to assist with suggestions, local knowledge, and anything else I needed throughout my visit. His friendly nature and hospitality greatly enhanced my experience. The property is peaceful and ideal for anyone wanting to unwind and connect with nature. Waking up to mountain sounds and enjoying such a calm setting was exactly what I desired. If you are visiting the region and value genuine hospitality, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere, I strongly suggest Misty Wilds Home. Thanks to Chahat for making my stay unforgettable.
