The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi

The Westin was an enjoyable experience for me and my wife. We were touring India as part of our honeymoon and this hotel was the first stop.The airport pickup was seamless and provided a luxury car option which was needed after a 10+ hour flight. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even offered to upgrade our room.Late night room service was prompt and morning breakfast there was a huge spread of both American/international and Indian breakfast options.All aspects of this hotel experience was done correctly. Would return for this experience again.

A coworker and I stayed at the Westin Gurgaon on a business trip between December 16-21, 2025. With nearly 1200 lifetime nights at Marriott properties throughout the world, I think this is the best experience I've ever had at a Marriott property. A few highlights included my complimentary upgrade to a very nice suite as a Marriott Titanium member, as well as the excellent staff throughout the hotel, in particular the culinary team.The executive lounge had a very nice bi-level setup with a broad selection of nightly appetizers and an open bar. Selections changed daily, which was quite nice. As a Marriott Elite member, you had the choice to take breakfast there or at the restaurant on the 1st floor which had an even more vast selection of options in the morning, spanning several different global cuisines.I would especially like to compliment the restaurant and lounge staff, as they went out of their way to provide excellent service. My coworker has celiac disease and is gluten intolerant. The chefs in both the restaurant and the lounge proactively went out of their way to accommodate her needs and surprised her daily with different delicious options that met her dietary needs. They even went so far as packing a picnic for us when they heard we were visiting the Taj Mahal. All of this was complimentary as a Marriott Elite guest and it far exceeded any expectations I would ever have of a hotel.I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and will be sure to recommend it to coworkers planning upcoming visits. As an aside, I have also stayed several times at the JW Marriott AeroCity, which was also excellent, but the wonderful staff at the Westin really set this property apart!

I recently stayed at the Westin Gurgaon and honestly expected a much better experience from a 5-star property.Check-in was smooth and the rooms were spacious, but the location was disappointing. I had a city view on the 8th floor and was repeatedly woken up by loud honking from the road below. For a premium hotel, I thought the windows would block out the noise, but they didn’t.The real frustration came after checkout. I flew back to Mumbai and while unpacking realized I had left a shirt in the closet. I immediately called the hotel and spoke to a staff member named Srishti who said she would check and call me back. I waited two hours, no response. I then raised it on the Bonvoy app and got a reply from Meyievinu at the front office. Within 15 minutes she said ’we haven’t found any shirt.’ That was absurd. I asked for the manager’s and GM’s details because at this point it felt like I was being dismissed.Soon after, I got a call from Palak, the Duty Manager, saying they found the shirt. Turns out they had checked room 644 instead of 844. So first they tell me nothing is found, then suddenly it appears once I escalate. For a 5-star hotel, this kind of casual handling of a guest complaint is shocking. It felt as if I was being called a liar in the process.What makes it worse is the comparison. At another Marriott property in Pune, I once left behind a shirt and not only did they find it, they washed, ironed, and couriered it to me. That’s the kind of service you expect. Here, I was just told, ’We’ve kept it at the front desk, how will you collect it’?For a hotel that charges premium rates, the service and attitude here were far from 5-star. Definitely not the kind of experience you’d expect from a Westin.The staff needs training but more than training they need the right attitude to serve and help their customers .

It was great staying - nicely cleaned rooms , very good food and tasty , worth ordering in room dinning . Although they did not give me my nightly upgrade award but still they upgraded from their side which was nice. I enjoyed staying with them , at the time of check-in i was asked if i would want to late check out upto 4 pm . Again a good gesture considering my Loyality with Bonvoy .Keep up the great work.
