Very welcoming staff and very beautiful sea facing rooms , but rooms need touch up

We are reviewing only the restaurant. Please do not visit this place, made us wait and main course came first, starters and juices came last and food was dry stale and utterly disappointing. Got a bill of 3500 for eating nothing. When we tried escalating it to the chef we over heard him telling the waiter that dont give ears to such ppl ignore ..... waste of time and money.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The property is having a very beautiful view to the ocean

The photographs on the websit are highly misleading. It is a very small hotel which should be given a rating of 2 star. We had booked a two bedroom suite which was not at all worth the money we paid for it. Mirrors had stains, there were holes in the wall and lizards in our room. They told us it was a heritage room which probably explains old showers which were not working properly and shabby furniture. Food was average and breakfast was ala carte and had very few options. The pool was more like a kiddy pool. Access to our room was shabby and dingy. The restaurant had a time shade more like a dhaba. Only good thing were the courteous and helpful staffWould not recommend at all

Getaway Beach Resort is a thoughtfully done property in a stunning location, especially if you enjoy staying close to the beach while still having easy access to everyday conveniences.Just a short walk from the beach and close to medical shops, art galleries, caf??s, and small local restaurants, the location makes it easy to step out and explore. The rooms are genuinely spacious’huge, in fact’with large, very comfortable beds and clean, crisp linen that instantly puts you at ease. Bathrooms are equally generous and well maintained. If you can, choose the first-floor or Imperial rooms’the views from there are absolutely stunning and really elevate the stay. The airy balconies deserve a special mention too’spectacular views, a ceiling fan, lovely outdoor furniture, and a beautiful tile-mosaic table show real attention to detail and give the place its charming character.The garden also stands out. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into it’everything feels calm, intentional, and beautifully maintained, adding to the sense of retreat.Food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, though slightly on the expensive side. The pool is on the smaller side and feels like an area with potential, especially given how much space the property has.Service and hospitality are where this place truly shines. We arrived quite late at night and had a smooth, hassle-free check-in. Since the restaurant shuts at 10 pm, we coordinated with the team on WhatsApp and pre-ordered dinner’they thoughtfully kept it sealed, hygienic, and ready in our room when we arrived. A genuinely warm gesture. Special shout-out to the lady at the reception who went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable’those small, human touches really matter when you travel often.All in all, a peaceful, well-located stay with great rooms, warm service, and a charming character’along with a few areas that, if improved, could make it truly exceptional.
