Lemon Tree Premier, Thiruvananthapuram

We chose Lemon Tree Premier, Thiruvananthapuram because it was a new hotel, but our stay was disappointing.At check-in, we asked about an upgrade and were told the hotel was full, which we understood. Later, the manager told my husband he would upgrade us the next day. When we checked at the front desk, we were told someone would call us, but no one did. We were too tired to follow up again and let it go.Before going out the following day, we asked for our room to be cleaned and for fresh towels. When we returned, the room was exactly as we had left it. Housekeeping came only after my husband called, and they cleaned while we were in the room. The bathroom was still not cleaned properly.We also went to the hotel’s kebab restaurant for dinner, but there was no staff there. We had to ask someone from the neighbouring restaurant to let them know we were waiting. When a staff member finally arrived, most of the dishes we wanted to order were unavailable, so we went elsewhere for dinner.The most frustrating issue was the shower drainage. Water pooled so quickly that we had to turn off the shower and wait for it to drain before continuing. The room was also very small. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again.

This is my 1st trip to Kerela and got the lemon Tree as my stay. Very happy with the stay and staff and all the people are very kind and generous.

A pleasant place to stay with excellent hospitality.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights on a business trip, and overall, my experience was better than average. The hotel has many positives, though there are some aspects of the service that could use improvement. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all modern amenities, with a spacious and well-kept ensuite bathroom. The staff were very helpful and polite, especially Ms. Kyili at Citrus Café who took excellent care of us, and Ms. Nysu at reception who was courteous and efficient. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes. The hotel's atmosphere is warm and gives an upscale impression. On the downside, as of September 2026, the hotel does not have a bar, which might disappoint some guests. The check-out process was slow and disorganized, with the receptionist lacking full information on billing, causing delays. We had requested packed breakfasts for an early departure, but they were not ready on time, and we waited about 15 minutes, which was surprising for a Lemon Tree Premier property. In summary, the hotel offers comfortable rooms, a nice ambiance, decent food, and polite staff, but the check-out experience and breakfast packing service fell short of the brand's usual standards.
