Very disappointing experience at Hotel Blessing Bells, Ballupur, Dehradun.Visited with family last Saturday night. The place was extremely noisy due to a group party, making it uncomfortable to dine. The Chicken Tikka was served undercooked and had to be sent back.There was live music initially, but it was abruptly stopped when the owner arrived citing noise rules, while the loud DJ from the group party continued. Clearly, different rules for different guests.The bill was also incorrect and had to be fixed, and the staff appeared unprofessional.As regular customers, this was truly disappointing. Poor hospitality, food, and overall experience. Not recommended.

There was live music at first, but it was suddenly stopped when the owner came, citing noise rules, while the loud DJ from the group party kept playing. Clearly, different rules applied to different guests. The bill was also wrong and needed correction, and the staff seemed unprofessional. As regular customers, this experience was really disappointing. Poor hospitality, food, and overall experience. Not recommended.

My family and I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience at the restaurant. The service provided was excessively slow, and the behaviour of both the staff members and the manager, who was an elderly man, was highly unprofessional, inappropriate, and unacceptable.We had organised a birthday party for our daughter at the restaurant, attended by approximately 10’12 children below the age of 14 years. Prior to the event, we were informed that the total charges for the party would be around ’5,000’’6,000. However, after the event, we were unexpectedly charged an amount of ’20,000, which appears to be completely unreasonable, misleading, and unfair considering the arrangements and food provided.It is important to note that the cake and decorations were arranged separately by us at our own expense and were not provided by the restaurant. Despite this, the quantity and quality of snacks served by the restaurant were wholly inadequate for the amount charged.Furthermore, during the interaction regarding the billing and services, the manager used objectionable, disrespectful, and humiliating language, causing significant embarrassment and mental distress to my family. The situation became so serious that I was prepared to contact the police authorities immediately; however, my husband prevented the matter from escalating further at that time.Such conduct by restaurants raises serious concerns regarding unfair trade practices, misleading pricing, overcharging, and customer harassment. Appropriate authorities should properly monitor and inspect such establishments to ensure that customers are not deceived, exploited, or mistreated in this manner.

But after the party, we were charged ₹20,000, which seems completely unreasonable, misleading, and unfair given the food and arrangements. We had arranged the cake and decorations ourselves and paid for them separately; these were not provided by the restaurant. Still, the snacks served by the restaurant were insufficient in both quantity and quality for the price charged. Additionally, when discussing the bill and services, the manager spoke in a disrespectful, offensive, and humiliating way, causing great embarrassment and distress to my family. The situation got so serious that I was ready to call the police, but my husband stopped it from escalating. This kind of behaviour by restaurants raises serious issues about unfair trade practices, misleading pricing, overcharging, and customer harassment. Authorities should properly oversee and inspect such places to prevent customers from being deceived, exploited, or mistreated like this.

Rooms are basic. We faced an issue of smoking smell and leakage from geyser. Room service helped immediately with room fresheners. The restaurant offers really good quality food.
