Staff non supportive and charged extra money . Poor hospitality
The problems started right at check-in, where we were forced to pay an additional 6,000 despite showing the staff our Agoda booking and explaining the situation. Instead of trying to understand the issue, the General Manager, Mr. Bhanu, spoke to us in a rude and hostile manner and insisted on the payment before allowing us to check in. The entire interaction felt intimidating and completely lacked basic hospitality.The hotel itself was nothing like what was advertised online. The photographs on the listing are highly misleading and create expectations that the property simply does not meet. The rooms and common areas looked far more worn out than shown in the pictures.The room was also unhygienic. We found insects and even lizards inside, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Basic amenities were missing at check-in—we had to repeatedly request towels and even ask for something as basic as mosquito repellent. Guests should not have to chase hotel staff for essentials.The service throughout our stay remained poor. Every interaction with the staff felt reluctant and unfriendly. Rather than making guests feel welcome, the staff behaved as though assisting us was an inconvenience.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the misleading listing, poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and unprofessional customer service, this property fell far below what we expected for the amount we paid.I would strongly advise future guests to exercise caution and not rely solely on the photographs shown online. My experience was nowhere close to what was advertised, and I certainly would not choose to stay here again.
Located along the Narmada River, this hotel is wonderful. It combines spiritual ambiance with stunning river scenery; it likely appears even more breathtaking in the monsoon season.
