️️️️️We stayed at Welcome ITC Hotel Bodhgaya in Room No. 405 & 406 for one night. We came from Delhi for Pind Daan and had a very peaceful and comfortable stay.The hospitality, cleanliness, ambience, and service of the hotel were excellent. The entire staff was very courteous and helpful, making our religious visit more comfortable and memorable.A special thanks to Chef Alok at Welcome Café Bodhi for his outstanding service, delicious food, and personal attention. Everything was good but improved your food
A huge letdown for a 5-star property. The floors creak, the beds aren't particularly comfortable, and, to top it all, we were served mould-laden bread at the breakfast buffet.What was even more appalling was the way the matter was handled. When I pointed out the visible mould on the bread, the Executive Chef initially dismissed it as "multigrain powder." It was only after I said that I would take the bread around and ask the other guests at breakfast whether they thought it was mould or "multigrain powder" that he finally admitted that it was, in fact, mould.One would expect a five-star hotel to treat a food-safety issue of this nature with utmost seriousness. Instead, the response from the management was shockingly casual. The Sales Manager/GM did little to meaningfully address the issue and made statements such as, "We'll get the bread tested," when the mould was plainly visible to the naked eye.Serving mouldy food is bad enough; attempting to dismiss or explain it away rather than immediately acknowledging the lapse and taking responsibility makes the experience considerably worse.For the prices guests are paying, basic food safety should not be something they have to worry about. Extremely disappointing and concerning experience.
