The West Bengal government has declared a total lockdown in the state on 27.08.20, 28.08.20 and 31.08.20. Due to this, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has cancelled several trains, partially cancelled some and withdrawn the stoppages of a few others.
Here is the list of cancelled trains:
>Train No. 02074/02073 Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Special will remain cancelled from both Bhubaneswar and Howrah directions on August 27 and 28.
>Train No. 02201 Sealdah-Bhubaneswar Duronto Special leaving from Sealdah will remain cancelled on August 28 and 31.
>Train No. 02202 Bhubaneswar-Sealdah Duronto Special leaving from Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled on August 29 and September 1.

>Train No. 02704 Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Special Express leaving from Secunderabad on August 27 will be terminated at Bhubaneswar and will not go up to Howrah.
>Train No. 02703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Special Express will start from Bhubaneswar instead of Howrah on August 27.
Withdrawal of stoppages:
>Train No. 02801 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special Purusottam Express leaving from Bhubaneswar on August 27 will not have a stoppage at Purulia and Hijli stations.
> Train No. 02823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special Rajdhani Express leaving from Bhubaneswar on August 27 and August 28 will not have stoppages at Hijli station.
Notably, the West Bengal government has extended the complete lockdown in the state on September 7, 11 and 12. Passengers are advised to make their travel plans accordingly.
Along with this, the Western Railways has increased the stoppages of four special trains at the Nagda Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh, which is an important halt for trains bound for Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur.
