AirAsia X, founded in 2007, is the long-haul, low-cost affiliate carrier of AirAsia Group. Operating from its main hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the airline has revolutionized long-haul, low-cost air travel in Asia. With a modern fleet of 14 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, each configured to accommodate between 377-383 passengers, AirAsia X has established itself as a leading budget carrier for medium to long-haul routes.

The airline's strategic positioning at KLIA, alongside secondary hubs in Bangkok and Osaka, has enabled it to serve key markets across Asia-Pacific and beyond. AirAsia X has garnered numerous accolades, including the World's Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Cabin award at the Skytrax World Airline Awards for seven consecutive years (2012-2019). In terms of market presence in India, while AirAsia X doesn't operate direct flights to Indian destinations, it complements AirAsia Group's extensive network through connecting flights via Kuala Lumpur.

AirAsia X offers two distinct cabin classes:

• Economy Class: Features ergonomically designed seats with adjustable headrests, 31-inch seat pitch, and personal USB charging ports. Passengers can pre-book hot meals and enjoy entertainment via the Rokki wireless streaming service.

• Premium Flatbed: Offers convertible flatbed seats with 60-inch seat pitch, complimentary meals, priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling, plus enhanced baggage allowance.
