There is a free check in baggage policy for travellers taking flights operated by the airline within Indian boundaries. Kingfisher First passengers get a free check in baggage allowance of 30 kg, while Kingfisher Class and Kingfisher Red passengers can check in 20 kg of free baggage.

Kingfisher Airlines uses the computerised WorldTracer system for searching lost baggage. More than 400 airlines across the planet rely upon this tracing system to locate lost baggage. Kingfisher Airlines holds the distinction of being India's first airline to offer the facility of Roving Agents for passengers without check in baggage.
