SpiceJet Baggage Allowance

The check-in baggage allowance for all SpiceJet domestic flights is 15 kgs with a maximum dimension of 158 cm (L+W+H).

Each passenger is permitted to bring one piece of hand luggage into the aircraft cabin. This baggage weight should not exceed 7 kgs with the dimensions of 55 cm + 35 cm + 25 cm (L+W+H) on Boeing flights. For Q400 flights, the baggage dimension should be under 108 cm or 42.5 inches (50 cm + 35 cm + 23 cm).

Passengers are allowed to carry laptop bags, ladies’ purses and duty-free shopping bags, as long as the total weight of their cabin baggage does not exceed 7 kgs. It is advisable to check updated information on the airline’s website.

SpiceJet Extra Baggage Charges 

SpiceJet charges INR 550 per kilogram for excess baggage at the airport. In addition to the excess baggage charges, any additional piece(s) of baggage will be charged INR 1,000. Passengers can save money by pre-booking excess baggage/excess pieces through the airline’s website.
