1st Gate Home-Fusion

We had a fantastic stay at First Gate. The hotel and its courtyard are beautifully and authentically decorated. Our spacious room featured a stunning blue bathroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. In our opinion, the rooftop terrace hosts one of the best restaurants in Jaisalmer, offering a magnificent view of the fort. Both the hotel and restaurant staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were allowed to store our luggage during a day trip nearby after checking out, and they even provided us with a packed lunch for our return journey. Truly amazing. If you want to explore Jaisalmer, this is the hotel where you simply must stay. We couldn't have imagined a better experience. Thank you!

Some places you stay at’ and some places stay with you. This was definitely the second kind.We spent 3 nights here and by the time it was over, leaving honestly felt difficult. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and extremely well maintained. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, very clean, and comfortable. We were fortunate to get upgraded to an Executive Room, and waking up every morning to the stunning view of the Jaisalmer Fort was something I’ll remember for a long time.The food was another highlight. Whether it was Indian or Italian, everything we tried was delicious and freshly prepared. The breakfast spread was especially impressive and easily one of the best parts of our mornings.What truly makes this place exceptional though is the hospitality. The staff here are genuinely warm, attentive, and kind not forced or formal, but heartfelt. It creates an atmosphere where you feel relaxed and cared for throughout your stay. The amenities like the jacuzzi, spa, and even the music room add to the experience and give it a luxurious boutique feel.Honestly, Jaisalmer is a nice destination, but this hotel itself feels like a reason to visit the city. There was absolutely nothing to complain about everything was just perfect.Would go back without hesitation.

I travel regularly and I’ve never seen a hotel go above and beyond as much as this one does to make its customers feel at home. The level of service here is better than places I’ve stayed at that charge 4 times the price.The hotel offers generous perks such as complementary snacks and sodas, and the staff goes out of its way to make sure guests have everything they need. They even had a power adapter for me to use when I discovered that I had forgotten to bring one.The property itself is well maintained and perfectly located near the gate of the fort, plus it has an excellent view from the rooftop.This is a no-brainer place to stay when you’re In Jaisalmer.

Felt like a 5-star stay, but with the warmth of homestayed in the week of December 25thWe stayed at 1st Gate Home-Fusion, Jaisalmer and I genuinely don’t have enough good things to say. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so looked after not in a ’formal hotel’ way, but in a truly caring, guest-first way. Small things, constant check-ins, always smiling, always ready to help’ it honestly felt like the kind of hospitality you remember long after the trip.The location is a big plus too ,you’re close to pretty much all the key attractions, so getting around is easy and you don’t waste time in travel.And then there’s the highlight: the rooftop restaurant. Wow. The fort views are absolutely magical, especially in the evening. Great vibe, great service, and the kind of setting where you just want to sit longer than planned and soak it all in. If you’re coming to Jaisalmer, this rooftop alone is worth experiencing.If you want a place that’s comfortable, classy, and run by people who genuinely care about guests ’ this is it. I’d happily come back again.

Fantastic hotel. The location is perfect just right at the gates to the fort. The rooftop restaurant has a great view of the fort! Rooms are great, beds so comfy. Loved the breakfast especially the kachori and italian coffee. The staff are the best, genuinely nice, always asking if we need water, chai, or anything. It made the stay special and welcoming. Even gave us picnic to take on the next leg of our journey!
