Advait Resort, Kshetra Mahabaleshwar

I really enjoyed my time at Advait resort; the rooms were cozy and well-equipped with all the amenities in their proper places. The location was stunning, especially during the monsoon season. It felt like staying among the clouds, with views of the valley and lake from their Advait Valley area. This stay left a lasting impression, and I would definitely return if I visit Mahabaleshwar again.

The staff were excellent, the location was convenient, and the food was clean and of high quality.

Our experience was wonderful, beginning with the stunning panoramic views visible right from the property. The location is beautifully set, making just relaxing there a special experience. Additionally, it acts as an ideal base—situated conveniently close to all the key attractions in Mahabaleshwar, which made day trips very easy and hassle-free. The food was equally delightful; every dish we had was tasty, fresh, and clearly made with attention. What really made our stay memorable was the excellent hospitality. The staff were very polite, sincerely friendly, and quick to respond to every request. They always went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. Keep up the excellent work! I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region and am eager to come back.

Terrible service and the food quality was the worst. It was a complete waste of both money and time.

Be very cautious when booking here! The room descriptions are highly deceptive. They show pictures of the Wada-side rooms but don’t clearly indicate that some rooms have no view at all. This completely spoiled my vacation because I unknowingly booked a room behind the duplexes, which was very disappointing and off-putting. This was my second stay, so I expected better. When I complained, they offered me a corner room, but even after paying extra, I got a front room with a blocked view. I was too tired of arguing and decided to stay rather than let it ruin my trip more. The next day, I moved to another room, but it was just as bad. The mattress was very hard, like sleeping on springs, causing back pain and poor sleep. The food service was also disappointing. I gave some hotel food to staff to reheat, but it came back barely warm, more like slightly heated. I appreciated the waiter’s effort, especially since it was raining, and tipped him, but the food was still cold. Overall, booking here again was a big mistake. I expected the same experience as my first visit, but the hotel seemed to take me for granted. The room was subpar, service poor, and staff made little effort to fix problems. The staff’s attitude was frustrating; every request was met with a “No” and no real attempt to help. I regret returning here. Neither I nor my family will come back. Returning guests should feel valued, not given bad rooms and left to deal with misleading photos and poor service.
