The overall experience was terrible. The bed sheets and blankets were stained, ripped, and smelled bad. Cleanliness was obviously neglected. We also ordered dinner, but the portion was very small. They said it was a single serving, yet it wasn't sufficient for one person. Both the quality and amount were lacking. I would strongly advise against ordering food here. In general, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.

We stayed at Hotel C P Cottage, Mahabaleshwar on 19.07.2026 and found the experience very unsatisfactory. The hotel lacked proper hygiene and cleanliness. We arrived at 6:00 AM but there was no waiting area for guests, so we had to wait until 10:00 AM. When we asked for early check-in and offered to pay extra if a room was available, the staff said they could only give a room without cleaning or changing the bed sheets and still wanted to charge ₹500, which was unacceptable. The room service was poor and below expectations. The food quality was subpar, yet prices were high; we ordered 2 Misal and 2 Tea for ₹270, but the taste was not good. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and food quality did not match the price, and I would not recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Mahabaleshwar.
