Chanakya BNR Hotel

Had a wonderful stay at Chanakya BNR Hotel. It’s a beautiful heritage property designed around the theme of Indian Railways, which makes the experience very unique. The rooms are spacious and named after different railway stations, adding a special charm to the stay.The property has a lovely swimming pool and a very peaceful ambiance. It’s also conveniently located’just a 2-minute walk from the beach and quite close to the temple area. The food was absolutely amazing, one of the best we’ve had during our trips.The hospitality and service were excellent throughout our stay. Definitely a great place to stay in Puri for a relaxing and memorable experience. ’

Rooms are clean and decent, and the hotel has a pleasant heritage feel. However, there is no lift/elevator facility, which can be challenging for senior citizens or medically unfit guests. The waiting time for food is also quite long. Additionally, vegetarian guests may feel uncomfortable as veg and non-veg items are served together in the buffet breakfast. Management should consider improving these aspects for better guest comfort. It is located very near to Puri Railway Station.

A lovely Christmas ’’ lunch , continental style baked fish hashed brown potato and so many delights. Retains the same charm and elegance as in the 70s when I first visited Puri. Lazy afternoon spent at Chanakya BNR hotel. A must must for classy people when in Puri

Heritage hotel with massive rooms.The plumbing needs upgrade, especially in the bathrooms.While the property is kept clean.. wear and tear is evident.The staff are extremely friendly and will help you with any request.
