Such a lovely experience at Chokhi Dhani! The whole vibe feels so warm and festive, with traditional decore, folk performances, and that royal Rajasthani touch everywhere. The food was delicious and served with so much warmth that it felt homely yet special at the same time. Staff was polite and welcoming throughout. It’s not just food, it’s an experience. Definitely visiting again! ’?

Solo Traveller • Feb 2026I stayed at Chokhi Dhani Aangan, Indore on 15th February, expecting a memorable and culturally rich experience. Unfortunately, the stay was deeply disappointing and far from what was promised.Despite it being Maha Shivaratri and the India’Pakistan match, the property had very few visitors. Instead of maintaining their usual standards, many of the artists appeared disinterested and reluctant to perform. On several occasions, they asked us to wait until more guests joined, which completely defeated the purpose of providing a welcoming and lively cultural environment. It felt as though the experience was dependent on crowd size rather than on the commitment of the staff to their guests.Additionally, several activities, including the swings and other attractions, were either closed or not operational. This significantly reduced the value of the stay, as these activities are a key part of the Chokhi Dhani experience. To make matters worse, the AC in the room was faulty, causing considerable discomfort and further spoiling the stay. Proper maintenance is a basic expectation, especially at a property that claims to offer a premium cultural stay.Overall, the gesture and hospitality were nothing special and did not justify the amount charged. The lack of enthusiasm, poor maintenance, and incomplete experience made me regret spending my money here. I would not recommend this property unless they seriously improve their service standards and ensure a consistent guest experience regardless of crowd size.
