Wonderful experience

Our stay at LCH was delightful. The staff were warm and accommodating, especially Joyce, who was both friendly and efficient. The pool was fantastic. The only downside was the weak WiFi signal in the rooms. I would still recommend this place.

While the property itself is excellent with high-quality facilities and a great atmosphere, the service fails to match the physical standards. The staff lacks the proactive responsibility needed for a seamless stay, requiring guests to prompt them for basic assistance from check-in, wifi, toiletries. Additionally, the breakfast experience is frustrating and misleading, requiring multiple calls just to clarify what is available. This lack of clear communication and ownership at the start of the day negatively impacts the overall guest experience.Management SuggestionThe hotel possesses a great foundation, but the service culture needs an upgrade. Focus on training staff to take initiative without being asked and ensure breakfast offerings are communicated clearly to avoid guest frustration.

The location was pleasant and the rooms were roomy, but this place is not really a hotel. If you expect typical hotel services, you will be let down. You have to purchase water separately and pay immediately. Since it operates more like a club, there is no staff available after 9 PM. Even if you just want water, you must go out and buy it yourself. There was no hair dryer or trash bin in the bathroom because housekeeping is not active. We also experienced Wi-Fi problems that no one could resolve after 11 PM. The reception staff were very rude and treated guests like children. One staff member got angry when I asked for toilet paper, saying I should have checked earlier since it was nearly 9 PM and she was about to leave. She even mentioned seeing me in the gym and suggested I could have asked then, which makes no sense—why ask for toilet paper if you still have some? You only ask when it’s finished. This attitude extended to everything including food, reception, and the so-called hotel services. The gym was awful, worse than what you'd expect from a small hotel gym. A trainer said the last new equipment was bought in 2008 when the place was built. Reception doesn’t call but rings the doorbell whenever they want to communicate, even early in the morning. Checkout is at 11 AM, but they would knock at 9 AM asking if we planned to stay longer. Overall, it was a poor experience. All facilities like gym, pool, chess, tennis, and squash close at 9 PM. I definitely won’t return, even if the price is halved. It’s better to book a real hotel for that price.

I had a pleasant stay at Lch Fitness, valued their service, and found the rooms to be very clean and roomy. Also, Joycee at the reception was very helpful and made the experience even more comfortable.
