Extremely Disappointing Experience, Serious Room Allocation & Guest Security ConcernI checked in at Playotel Premier Hotel, Vijay Nagar, Indore after booking two rooms through MakeMyTrip. Playotel has usually been one of my preferred hotels whenever I visit Indore, which is why this experience was very unexpected.We were initially given two rooms next to each other. My parents’ room was fine, but our room had a strong foul odour. On request, the staff helped and shifted us to another room, which I appreciated. Since we were getting late for dinner, I kept my laptop bag and belongings in this newly assigned room and left.When I returned late at night, my key card was not working. Assuming it was a normal key issue, I went to reception, only to be informed that the same room assigned to me earlier had now been given to another guest, while my laptop bag was still inside.This was genuinely concerning.I understand mistakes happen in hospitality. I have travelled extensively and know human errors occur everywhere. My issue was not the mistake itself, but the seriousness of the lapse and how it was handled.How can a room already assigned to one guest be reassigned without checking whether it is occupied, cleaned, or contains someone’s belongings? A guest trusts the hotel with their personal items, and this could have involved confidential documents, valuables, or sensitive belongings.Even after the issue came up, there was confusion among staff members instead of a quick resolution. Despite trying to remain patient and understanding, I did not feel the reception/management handled the situation with the cooperation expected from a hospitality brand.I do appreciate that the staff avoided using a master key immediately, considering the privacy of the guest who had been given that room. That was the correct approach ’ but the situation should never have reached that point.A special mention to Mr. Prakash from housekeeping/ground staff, who genuinely tried his best to help and resolve things calmly. My disappointment is not with him, but with the management, coordination, and front-desk process failure.Hospitality is not about never making mistakes as mistakes happen. What matters is accountability, communication, and how those mistakes are handled.I hope Playotel management takes this seriously and strengthens its room allocation and guest security protocols so future guests do not face a similar situation.

The Hotel Experience is Amazing. Rooms were neat and clean. The hotel staff is humble and welcoming. The restaurant at this hotel is up top, with it’s delicious non veg food, especially hard to find in Indore. The restaurant staff is extremely friendly, polite, special thanks to Jenet, who works at the restaurant. Hotel and restaurant are must visit!!! Had the one of the most amazing breakfast spreads here, multiple options of cuisines to choose from..special thanks to Harshita for being an active and humble server.

Had a wonderful stay at Playotel Premier. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent amenities and a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, the service was prompt, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.A special mention to Jenet , Harshitha, and Subhash for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that guests were well taken care of throughout breakfast. Their positive attitude and dedication added a personal touch to the experience.Highly recommend Playotel Premier to anyone visiting Indore. Looking forward to staying here again!

Had an amazing stay at Playotel Premier, Indore! The rooms were beautifully maintained, spotless, well-lit, and extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to help, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for us.The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, and a special thanks to Janet for her warm and attentive service. We genuinely had no complaints throughout our stay ’ their hospitality truly stands out.Overall, it was a wonderful family stay, and without a doubt, one of the best places to stay in Indore. Highly recommended, and I would definitely love to visit again!
