Forestscape Resort Munnar

We spent 3 nights at Forest Escape, and it was by far the best part of our whole Kerala trip. The room views are stunning. Waking up to endless tea gardens, clouds, and mountains right outside your bed is something you won't forget. The staff is very polite and welcoming. The receptionist was helpful and switched our room first to a higher floor and then to one with a tea plantation view. Of all the room types, the tea plantation view rooms are the top choice. The food could use some improvement. Breakfast was average, so don't expect a wide selection or outstanding flavors. For dinner, we enjoyed the dal fry, but the other dishes were just okay. Also, the hotel doesn't offer lunch or snacks, and since it's about 45 minutes from Munnar town, getting food during the day can be a little tricky. If you want to wake up surrounded by nature instead of staying in a busy town, this place is definitely worth it. Given the price, service, and amazing views, I would highly recommend staying here.

Our time at Forescape Hotel was fantastic. The property's view is stunning and exactly matches the photos online, which was great to see. The breakfast offered a wide range of tasty choices. What really stood out was the staff; everyone was very kind, friendly, and always willing to assist. Their service truly deserves special recognition. The hotel also provides a jeep safari for an extra fee, which was a fantastic experience. We want to especially thank Mr. Basil Jose, our guide during the safari, who shared a lot of interesting information about each location, enhancing our enjoyment. In general, the entire hotel staff was excellent, and their warm hospitality made our visit unforgettable. We strongly recommend Forescape Hotel to anyone traveling to Munnar.

The views from this property are absolutely stunning and exactly as shown in the pictures. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay.However, there are a few areas that need improvement, especially considering the premium price. The property is quite isolated, with very limited food options nearby, and there isn't a proper in-house kitchen. Food availability is inconsistent—even getting a simple snack or lunch can be difficult—and the prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, I also found an insect in my food on the first day, which was disappointing.Overall, this is a great place if you're visiting purely for the incredible views and a peaceful stay. But for the price being charged, I expected better dining facilities and a more reliable food experience.
