Getaway Beach Resort is a thoughtfully done property in a stunning location, especially if you enjoy staying close to the beach while still having easy access to everyday conveniences.Just a short walk from the beach and close to medical shops, art galleries, caf??s, and small local restaurants, the location makes it easy to step out and explore. The rooms are genuinely spacious’huge, in fact’with large, very comfortable beds and clean, crisp linen that instantly puts you at ease. Bathrooms are equally generous and well maintained. If you can, choose the first-floor or Imperial rooms’the views from there are absolutely stunning and really elevate the stay. The airy balconies deserve a special mention too’spectacular views, a ceiling fan, lovely outdoor furniture, and a beautiful tile-mosaic table show real attention to detail and give the place its charming character.The garden also stands out. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into it’everything feels calm, intentional, and beautifully maintained, adding to the sense of retreat.Food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, though slightly on the expensive side. The pool is on the smaller side and feels like an area with potential, especially given how much space the property has.Service and hospitality are where this place truly shines. We arrived quite late at night and had a smooth, hassle-free check-in. Since the restaurant shuts at 10 pm, we coordinated with the team on WhatsApp and pre-ordered dinner’they thoughtfully kept it sealed, hygienic, and ready in our room when we arrived. A genuinely warm gesture. Special shout-out to the lady at the reception who went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable’those small, human touches really matter when you travel often.All in all, a peaceful, well-located stay with great rooms, warm service, and a charming character’along with a few areas that, if improved, could make it truly exceptional.

My experience at this resort in Kovalam was not very good. As a driver accompanying a family, there were no accommodation or parking facilities for me. Additionally, the behavior of some of the staff was very rude. The facilities provided do not justify the price paid. Therefore, everyone should consider this carefully before booking a room.

The General Manager, Mr. Monoj, was extremely polite and personally ensured that we were satisfied with the food. Mr. Renjith attended to us and provided excellent service throughout our visit.The food was a delightful blend of North Indian spices with subtle South Indian flavors. Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. I especially enjoyed the saut??ed vegetables, hot and sour chicken soup, and the prawn dishes. The experience was made even more memorable by the stunning sunset sea view at Kovalam Beach, which beautifully complemented the meal. It is the perfect place for a peaceful evening with a breathtaking beach view.

The location of resort was great. The rooms were good but could be a lot better, lights were dim. The swimming pool was nice but could be a bit bigger.But the best part was service. The staff was amazing, GM Mr. Manoj, Sunitha & Anand at the reception, Chef - Gautam & Shyju,Vinstent, langaba, atul, bruno, rakhi, juberi, Satish. All the service staff, staff st restaurant were really friendly and helpful.The breakfast was amazing, the served hot dosa, uttapam, variety of eggs, fresh fruit juices etc without any hesitation and with lots of love & also packed breakfast daily for my infant.If the rooms get a bit better and some inhouse games resort will be 10/10.They also gave me s room upgrade.

The resort offers well-maintained rooms with beach view and a pleasant stay overall. However, it didn’t quite feel worth the price paid, as it appears somewhat overhyped on booking platforms.Upon check-in, we were informed that the complimentary fruit basket was unavailable due to our late arrival, which was a bit disappointing.Breakfast was average ’ the idlis served are left overs and reheated. It would be better to go with some freshly prepared options such as dosa, poori, or omelette. On a positive note, the fresh fruit juices served were delicious and refreshing.
