Group • India • Jun 2026Very poor condition and service at SPS Kingsway hotel, Thiruvananthapuram.The hotel is in a poorly maintained condition. The rooms are stuffy, dusty on the ceiling and corners, Ac cooling uncontrollable etc etc. But, the most terrible thing is that we were greeted by two cockroaches crawling out from under the pillows of our "freshly made" bed to greet us. Then we saw several other cockroaches running around on the floor. The bed linen hadn't been washed for quite some time, or they had been used and refused more than their expiry date. It was torn in many places, and shaggy and smelly altogether. Even the replacement linen brought by the housekeeping staff was no different. We decided not to dine in the restaurant at the hotel because we heard a group of North Indian guests making several complaints to the manager about the service in the restaurant. The overall attitude of the staff was a kind of indifference to the guests. Our room was not ready even though I had given many hours prior notice of our late check-in.

The hot water works perfectly, adding comfort to the stay. Overall, an excellent experience that combines comfort and quality service.
