Ramas Garden

Apart from being fairly close to the temple, most aspects were quite disappointing. We were assigned a room smaller than my study, with insects inside, and were told we had brought them ourselves. We didn't complain about ants in the bathroom, anticipating the likely response. A major issue was being forced to pay the full amount in cash, with the claim that it was a Non-GST transaction and a direct booking, possibly explaining why the booking was never confirmed despite repeated requests. The fridge didn't work except for the light, and the AC set to 18 degrees felt like 26 degrees. The Wi-Fi password was only given after six hours upon asking. When we complained about the AC the next day, the staff acted as if they were seeing it for the first time. The person on duty was rude, refusing to change our room, and called his manager in a local language we didn't understand, sounding agitated. While I was speaking to my spouse, he became upset to the point of intimidating us. For breakfast, I requested bread and butter, but on day one it wasn't provided because I asked at 7:45 AM, 15 minutes before the scheduled time; the next day, bread and butter were again missing at 8 AM for unknown reasons. Also, if you drive your own vehicle, you'll be asked to park outside on the road at your own risk, which is what they call available parking. Overall, this was my first and last stay here, especially since the place feels more like a homestay, and we could have found better, professionally managed hotels.

Nice place to stay with clean rooms, a decent free breakfast, and within walking distance to a temple gate. Overall, it's a good option for families. Please note there are no elevators and only two rooms are on the ground floor.

The hotel is situated in an excellent spot, making it convenient to visit the temple, airport, or popular nearby restaurants. The room staff were consistently polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and nutritious. I strongly recommend this place!

Rama's Garden turned out to be a wonderfully charming find in the center of Thiruvananthapuram. Located in a peaceful area, the place felt welcoming and soothing from the moment we arrived until we left. The men managing the property were truly hospitable, kind, and sincerely attentive. Although our stay was just one night—arriving late evening and departing early morning for a 7 am train—they provided everything we needed. The room was tidy, the facilities met expectations, and the service was flawless. I suggest Rama's Garden to anyone looking for a calm family retreat in Thiruvananthapuram or Kerala overall. Keep up the excellent work, team!
