Gokarna International Beach Resort

Excellent resort with a great location, tasty food, and attentive service. I recommend the owner to keep the beach front area cleaner. Also, controlling stray dogs would help, though it seems to be a widespread issue in Gokarna.

The location and the cottage rooms are nice. However, the swimming pool is below expectations and requires better upkeep.

Great resort with a nice swimming pool and a relaxing atmosphere. We could hear the sound of the waves from our room, which made the stay even more enjoyable.We arrived early, and although our room was still being cleaned, the staff kindly allowed us to use the pool before check-in, which was a nice gesture.The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The bathroom was clean, except for the bathtub, which could have been better maintained. We booked a non-AC sea-facing room for around ’2,500 per night, which was an excellent deal considering the location and view.The beach is just a few meters away from the rooms, making it very convenient. There is also direct access to a nearby restaurant. I'm not sure whether it is owned by the resort, but the prices were slightly on the higher side, although that seems to be common among nearby restaurants.One thing to note is that the parking area is located a bit far from the resort, likely because the property is situated right on the shoreline. Guests need to pay a separate parking fee as well. This may be inconvenient for elderly people or anyone who has difficulty walking longer distances.Overall, we had a great experience. It's a perfect place for family trips as well as outings with friends. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing beachside stay.

There is also direct entry to a nearby restaurant, which may or may not be part of the resort; prices there were a bit high, but that seems typical for the area. One thing to keep in mind is that the parking lot is somewhat distant from the resort, probably because the property is right on the shore. Guests must pay an extra fee for parking, which might be inconvenient for older guests or those who have trouble walking long distances. All in all, we had a fantastic time. It's an ideal spot for family vacations or trips with friends. I would certainly suggest it for a peaceful beachside getaway.

If you are looking for an hourly stay, this hotel is very helpful, especially since the checkout timings can be quite unusual. It’s also convenient if you don’t have a private vehicle and need a place to wait before your train. But it is a old hotel
