Gokarna International Beach Resort

The location of the hotel is good with inhouse restaurant and direct beach access.However the hotel needs to renovate rooms as they look old and upgrade services( like hot water in the room not available currently. You have to request and then someone brings a bucket). The parking is about 10 mins walk but the pathway is very very small. Avoid this during night for safety. Overall location is good and if you are someone looking to just come and chill it is recommended but with small kids, senior citizens it is difficult.

Stay here only for the beach/sea view, else there's nothing good to talk about this resort. The rooms are not well maintained, access to the resort is difficult. During our stay, they charged a bomb and did not have hot water facility, which was basic! Hot water was provided in a bucket to all the rooms for us to bathe in the morning.POSITIVES:1. Food is good at the restaurant. A little pricey (ex: a glass of badam milk was Rs.180/- lol), but the quality & quantity is good. We loved the veg pulav & most of the North Indian dishes.2. Awesome sea-facing view. Perfect for an early morning or evening walk.

Rooms are not hygienic.. Worst experience... rooms ceilings are water leakaging... very old building... if you touch the walls you get shock in walls and switches... hot water facilities is not available..... very worst experience don't visit anyone.... no facilities in price wise very costly.... only one thing is good for peoples rooms are nearest to the beach

Pretty old place to stay.. near to beach very nice access to beach and has swimming pool. Some of the switches in room were not working

One great advantage this hotel is having proximity towards beach no other hotel in the area is having this much better beachfront. Thats all thats the only pros alongwith a pool. Now here is a list of cons.1. Getting into the hotel from parking is a nightmare. They don’t have their own parking its through some private property. Till that property connectivity is fine but afterwards once you gets into the hotel you will never want to get out and if its monsoon you are gone, road is gilled with cow dung, dog poop and many other stuff. Other exit is from the kudle beach parking but it has many stairs but still its far better than the other route2. Ther is no wifi in the room.3. Amongst 3/4 socket only 1 socket works which is not on the bedside4. Ther is no mosquito repellent5. Doors were very old and was not able to lock properly.6. The in house restaurant is from separate vendor, you cannot tah the bill with your room. Everytime you need to pay the bill then and there.We were planning to stay 3 days over there but had to move out after day 1 into kudlu ocean front resort, although it doesn’t have beachfront but there is a nice way towards beach from the hotel and with lesser amount you will get a nice cottage as well as very nice food.Last day was able to get a guy from hotel to get my luggages through the alley in the parking, and I have given early check in around 10AM which is also nice.
