Haian- An Olive Tree Hotel

I stayed at this hotel in Vijayawada for two days for work. In my view, it is an affordable hotel with convenient access from Vijayawada Railway Station, and the room was roomy. However, there were some problems that need fixing: No hot water was available during my stay, and the room's landline phone was not working, which are basic amenities that should function properly. The receptionist was speaking abusively on his mobile phone to a relative during check-in, which was unprofessional and left a bad impression. When I called the receptionist from my phone to ask for the Wi-Fi password and confirm if I could order food via Zomato to my room, he said yes. But when the delivery person arrived, the security guard rudely stopped him from coming to the first-floor room, which I overheard during the call. I understand there may be a policy against delivery people entering rooms, but the receptionist should have informed me clearly instead of giving wrong information. I had to collect the order myself, and the guard insulted the delivery person harshly, which was disrespectful. The hotel should train staff, especially reception and security, to behave professionally and politely, communicate policies clearly, and fix the hot water and phone issues. Overall, I was unhappy with the staff's behavior. Despite the good location and spacious room, I recommend other hotels to travelers.

The main benefit of the hotel is its prime location, which provides easy access to important parts of the city. On the downside, the experience was somewhat disappointing due to various drawbacks. The lobby and hallways are quite tight, making the place feel confined, and the rooms are small with limited room. Moreover, the hotel lacks an on-site restaurant or food services, and there is no parking available for guests. If location is your top priority, this hotel could work, but if you seek more comfort and facilities, you might want to explore other options.

Rooms are small, the elevator is also tiny and slow, and bath soap is not provided; they said to use shower gel instead.
