Hotel Amarabati

The hotel is located one kilometre away from the sea beach. The triple-bed rooms are small and overpriced. The bathroom is large enough though. The room was equipped with appliances like a large wardrobe wuth mirror, a flat screen television, a small sofa and air conditioner. The bathroom had geyser, but no exhaust fan. There was a small balcony, but it did not offer a great view. A few buildings and shanties were visible. Moreover, it stank! Perhaps because the washroom did not have an exhaust fan. They provide limited room service. I guess there are not many employees. There is a restaurant on the ground-floor. The food was spicy but tasty. No outside food is allowed. The restaurant does not sell alcohol or popular soft drinks, though a few types of mocktails are available. However, it is not open 24x7, and one has to pre-order the meals. Morning tea needs to be ordered after 7.30 a.m., breakfast before 8.40 a.m., lunch before 9.30 a.m. and supper by 7.30 p.m. Not every item in the menu was available. The staff were polite, but somewhat unskilled. The hotel provides a parking space in front. There is also a swimming pool behind. Cottages are available, but only for couples. The ambience becomes disturbing on Fridays and Saturdays. It is better to stay indoors to avoid meeting drunkards. All in all, it was not bad. But perhaps better alternatives could have been found, had we tried.

Rooms are good but the staff here is the worst they turned off the lights because we were a few minutes late and our parents had to change while the door was open for light

Stayed for 1 day. Upon arriving we were shown a room, then staff cleaned it out and got it ready for us. Got to use their pool twice in the day ’ which was clean and very well maintained. I had read reviews before on google so I was wearing proper swimming costume.Mosquitoes were removed in a few minutes by the Mortein that they provided. They even provided extra soap when we asked for it.Satisfied with their prompt service.They have a restaurant which serves food although we did not use it.The beach is a walking distance of 7-9 mins away.I recommend staying at this hotel.

Too much restriction in using pool.Timing of children play area is from 12 noon to 2 30 pm should be changed.Rooms are good, near and clean.Room service can be improved as too much time is taken if you want your food in your room.Main sea beach is around 1.5 km from hotel.Food is good.Otherwise it was a good stay.

A middle class hotel with pool. Rates on weekends do not justify the quality of rooms which are not maintained as per modern standard. Pool is good, clean and usable. Staffs are courteous but do not expect modern hospitality standards. Foods are good but with limited options. You may or may not come back to this property.
