Extremely good. Lovely rooms. Great views from the room. Excellent hospitality. Manager and all the staff were very well mannered and kind. On the whole we enjoyed our stay at Jem valley resort

Solo Traveller • Jan 2026The hotel stay was good overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and room service was prompt and on time.However, the main drawback is the location. The hotel is far from the city center, and there is no proper transportation available if you reach Kodaikanal by public transport. Commuting from the main town is difficult.Additionally, if you step out of the room to enjoy the surroundings, there isn’t much to explore nearby. There is no easy access to hill views, forest walks, or nature trails.The food was average. I did not like the buffet system; it would be better if the hotel also provided an individual ??-la-carte menu.Overall, the stay was comfortable, but location and food options could be improved
