Stayed at Hotel New Grand, Deoghar. The property looks decent from the outside and the room design is modern-ish with good ambient lighting. Bed setup and basic amenities (kettle + water bottles) are available, and the room size is workable for a short stay.But the maintenance + housekeeping execution is the weak link. The bathroom/inside door was in very rough shape (scratches/paint marks), furniture looked worn and stained, and there were visible ’finish pending’ vibes in places (like exposed piping). Overall, it doesn’t feel like the hygiene and upkeep standards match what the branding suggests.
