Hotel Raghunath

My experience at Hotel Raghunath Jammu was awful from beginning to end. Besides the bad service and shabby facilities, the ceiling fan actually fell on me while I was inside the room, posing a serious safety risk. Additionally, the hotel has no mobile signal or dependable Wi-Fi, so staying connected or working was not an option. For your own peace of mind, avoid this place completely.

How could we ever forget that day? We had a truly frightening near-death experience at Hotel Raghunath, Jammu. While staying there, we noticed something that made us very uneasy. Just as we were thinking about it and went to use the washroom, we suddenly heard a loud THUD. The ceiling fan had fallen to the floor. Our immediate thought was: What if the fan had fallen while we were beneath it? What if someone had been sitting or sleeping right under it? What if a serious accident—or even a fatality—had happened? Who would be responsible? Fortunately, by pure luck, no one was under the fan at that moment. But this was not a small issue—it was a serious and potentially deadly safety risk. A hotel has a fundamental duty to make sure its rooms and fixtures are well maintained and safe for guests. A ceiling fan should never just fall down in an occupied room. We are thankful no one got hurt, but the experience was very scary and unforgettable. Hotel Raghunath, Jammu, please prioritize guest safety. Regular checks and proper upkeep of fixtures are not optional—they are vital.

Nice hotel

Very disappointing experience. Almost nothing matched what was promised. The hotel was not transparent about important details, especially the parking charges, which were never clearly mentioned before check-in. It felt misleading and unprofessional.The service was also very poor. The staff were unhelpful, slow to respond, and did not handle concerns properly. Overall, the stay was frustrating and not worth the money.

Stayed here for a short visit, but overall the experience was disappointing. The hotel is located inside a narrow lane, and the surroundings don't give a very pleasant first impression. There was an unpleasant smell outside the hotel as well as inside the property, which was noticeable throughout the stay.One thing to note is that they don't have their own parking. You'll need to park your vehicle in a paid parking area located a short distance away and walk back to the hotel.The food was average and nothing special. The only positive point is that Raghunath Temple is within walking distance. Other than the convenient location for temple visitors, I didn't find much to appreciate about this hotel.
