Radisson Blu Jammu

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu in Jammu for a special anniversary getaway with my family, hoping for a relaxing and memorable experience. Unfortunately, while there were a few positives, the overall stay fell short of expectations and left me disappointed.On the bright side, the room itself was clean and well-presented upon arrival. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep despite other issues. The hotel staff also made an effort with the anniversary arrangements, setting up some nice decorations and amenities, which added a thoughtful touch’though it wasn't quite what I had envisioned or requested.However, the negatives outweighed these small wins. The washroom was a major letdown due to poor maintenance. The shower door wouldn't close properly and remained half-open, causing water to splash out onto the bathroom floor every time we used it. This created unnecessary mess and hassle. The jacuzzi was functional but average at best; more frustratingly, the sliding glass panel (like a window pane) separating it from the bedroom didn't work. We had our baby sleeping in the room and wanted to keep an eye on him through the glass while relaxing in the jacuzzi, but the mechanism was stuck, making that impossible.For a hotel of this caliber and price point, these maintenance lapses are unacceptable and really detracted from what should have been a celebratory trip. I overlooked some shortcomings because it was our anniversary, but I wouldn't recommend it without improvements. If you're planning a special occasion here, double-check details in advance or consider other options in Jammu.

So, it was practically my first time in this hotel not the restaurant. It was an amazing place and had lovely experience, the people are overly well mannered, thats something I rarely see in hotels and restaurants, well I know its a 5 star hotel but it was still I had a great experience, my parents did annoy the call lines and the room service, you know how parents are, one person her name is Manpreet kour. A lovely waitress with immense patience. Over all loved the experience and will visit again in future.

The staff were warm and cooperative’ the service was also good ’ but I couldn’t help but notice that the staff were not fluent in speaking in English’ even those at the reception.This is a huge drawback for a 4 star hotel like raddison..The rooms were well maintained’. But it would be great if they change the packed amenities given to guests at least every month’ I got a very torn out vanity pack in my washroom which was kept there ’ maybe years before’

Extremely Disappointing Stay ’ Not Expected from RadissonWhen a middle-class family spends hard-earned money on a short vacation for their children’s happiness, the expectation is basic comfort and respect for reasonable requests. Sadly, my stay at Radisson Square, Jammu failed on both counts.My clear request for twin beds was ignored, forcing me to spend the entire night awake on an extremely uncomfortable couch while my two small children (aged 5 and 4) slept on the bed. This is unacceptable for a hotel charging premium prices.At check-in, I politely requested a swimming pool view for my kids. This was not a demand, yet it was completely disregarded, showing a clear lack of concern for guest experience.The bathroom had broken tiles near the bathtub, internet connectivity was poor, and despite requesting a higher floor, I was allotted a room on the 2nd floor.To make matters worse, when I requested to cancel one night at check-in, I was told no changes were possible ’ even as a Radisson Premium Member. Zero flexibility and zero empathy.This stay did not reflect Radisson’s brand standards at all. Only a guest who goes through such an experience understands this pain.
