Hotel Raghunath Jammu

Neat and clean hotel in Jammu City. Hotel Raghunath live upto my expectation. Staff is helpful and service was fast. New washroom and chilled Ac made my stay comfortable

This hotel stay was among the worst I've encountered. The management behaved very unprofessionally, and the manager did not demonstrate basic politeness or professionalism. Service was consistently poor, with staff showing minimal willingness to assist guests. The checkout was particularly problematic, with extra fees added without clear explanation or transparency, which was both disappointing and unacceptable. Hotels should always be upfront and clear about their charges. I cannot recommend this hotel until they make significant improvements in management, customer service, and billing.

We spent one day at this hotel; both the room and the hotel were clean and nice. The service was excellent. However, it is located in a market area. It's a 2-minute walk to Raghunath temple and about 10 minutes on foot to the bus stand.

Overall, the hotel is below average given its high cost. It does not offer good value for money and I would not suggest staying here. The location is within walking distance of Raghunath Temple and near the market area, but it is situated inside a very narrow lane with a poor entrance. The room is very small with barely enough space to move around, making it hard to accommodate many large suitcases. The bathroom is also quite cramped. The biggest problem was the air conditioning, which was very weak and failed to cool the room properly.

I can't speak for other guests, but my experience was very disappointing. I chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but my stay was far from what I expected. If it were possible, I would rate it 0/5, but since 1/5 is the lowest, that's what I gave. Here’s why: * No elevator: The hotel has three floors but no lift, which is a big problem if you have elderly or people with mobility issues. * Tiny rooms: The rooms are very cramped with barely enough space to move comfortably. * Cost-cutting everywhere: They offer either AC or a geyser, not both, unless you upgrade your room. I’ve never seen this before. Also, no free bottled water; they ask guests to use RO water. It felt like they were trying to save money at every turn. * Poor toiletries: No bathing soap provided. When I asked, they said they only have liquid soap for hands. Only one shampoo sachet was given, and we had to ask repeatedly for more. * Towels were dirty: The towels were damp and seemed used, which is unacceptable. * TV never worked: Staff kept saying it would start in a few minutes because it wasn’t recharged. We followed up for hours and even the next day it was still broken. They made excuses instead of fixing it. * Bad checkout: We paid for late checkout until 7 PM, but staff wanted us out early. At 6:50 PM, while we were still packing, housekeeping came in and started cleaning, which was unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. To future guests: Don’t be fooled by their nice words. From what I saw, they don’t match the actual service.
