Worse than very bad

Great place to stay, very clean environment, delicious food. The staff and manager are very helpful and cooperative.

I recently booked two rooms at this hotel on May 31st through the Agoda app but accidentally selected the wrong date. When I arrived, the receptionist gave me a customer support number for Agoda. When I called, the issue was minor, but the person on the phone asked for many personal details and even requested screen sharing. The receptionist spoke with the person online and showed my card's CVV and other banking details during the screen share. My phone's software was hacked, but fortunately, no money was taken because I quickly removed the SIM cards and blocked all banking services. This caused a lot of trouble during my vacation. The receptionist, a middle-aged man, was unaware of what banking information should or shouldn't be shared or how to cancel the process. He just gave me the number, saying he found it on Google. Since it was evening and I was in a rush, his carelessness and lack of knowledge could have led to a serious incident. I want to complain to management that the staff is not properly trained, which could cause similar problems for other guests. Also, he used my phone without my permission and followed the hacker's instructions. Even though it was accidental, action should be taken and staff should be properly appointed. Aside from this incident, the hotel facilities like rooms, bathrooms, and food were great, and I had a good stay. Thank you.
