We booked the hotel for peaceful sleepover after the tiredness of long train journey and then to continue over to Srinagar but the hotel turned out to be our nightmare the bed was dirty so was the bathroom we had to call the receptionist every 10’min to keep reminding them to change the sheets since it was full of hair and dirty MIDNIGHT 2 am the power cuts down for another 2-3 hours we had been suffering with heat no response from reception they just hang up the phone with no courtesy as if we are staying for free horrible service pathetic staff
The staff didn't co-operate. The washroom had blocked drainage of shower area and it was getting filled with waste water. Despite repeated requests to get the drainage unblocked, the hotel management didn't do anything. Also, the key card was not working for which it was getting difficult to open the room without calling the room service.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had quite the experience. We booked two rooms for two families, traveling with kids aged 2 and 10, and you can imagine how important it was for us to check in early after a grueling 27-hour train journey from Mumbai. Despite our pleas, we were made to wait until check-in time, which meant sitting like sofa decorations in the lobby for hours. The hotel itself was nice, but the staff, particularly one rude lady, really tested our patience. After spending the night on the train, the last thing we needed was a headache trying to convince someone to let us rest. It was more stressful than it should have been, and a little respect would have gone a long way. Hopefully, they can work on their hospitality because the location is lovely!
