Hotel Southern Grand

I have been staying at Southern Grand Hotel for the last 4 days. Before booking, I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews on Google. However, after staying here, my opinion changed completely.The room was clean and well-maintained. The food was good and reasonably portioned’not unnecessarily excessive. The breakfast options were limited, but everything was tasty and fresh. The staff were polite, welcoming, and professional. They greeted guests warmly, answered all my questions clearly, and provided good service throughout my stay.There are a few minor issues, but they are not very noticeable and did not affect my overall experience. One area that could be improved is car parking. Since the hotel is located on a busy main road, bike parking is generally manageable, but parking a car can be a little challenging at times. I discussed this with the management, and they informed me that they are working on improving the parking arrangements in the future.Overall, considering the budget and location (very close to Vijayawada Railway Station), I feel this is a good choice and offers good value for money. My stay was comfortable, and I would consider staying here again.

Here’s a detailed review you can use:’My recent stay at Southern Grand Hotel was extremely disappointing and, honestly, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.From the very beginning, the biggest issue was the lack of basic cleanliness and housekeeping. Despite staying for three days, our room was never cleaned’not even once. We repeatedly requested housekeeping services multiple times a day, both through the front desk and housekeeping staff, but our requests were consistently ignored. Towels were not replaced, trash was not cleared, and the room quickly became uncomfortable and unhygienic.What made the situation worse was the staff’s unprofessional behavior. Instead of addressing our concerns politely or taking responsibility, they were dismissive and uncooperative. When we raised the issue more firmly after being ignored for days, it led to an unnecessary argument with the hotel staff. Shockingly, instead of resolving the issue, they asked us to vacate the hotel, which was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.As paying guests, we expected at least basic hospitality, cleanliness, and respect’but unfortunately, none of these were met. The lack of accountability and poor customer service turned what should have been a comfortable stay into a frustrating and stressful experience.I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel. There are far better options available that value their guests and provide the level of service expected in the hospitality industry
