Hotel The President

I'm writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel on July 6th & 7th, 2026. Here are my concerns:1. Our room lacked basic amenities like a dental kit handwash. The washroom had no hot water. On asking with reception we got reply like hot water only available from 5 to 11am. Strange for a 3 star property.2. No one escorted us to our room; we were just given a key and told it was on the third floor.3. Unfortunately, your staff's behaviour on this visit was disappointing, they require only hard copy of IDs which is no where mentioned while making the booking. They not even accept Digi Locker IDs which even 5 star properties accept since I myself is a Front Office Manager in a 5 star brand.4. Lastly they don’t have a proper duvet they place a dirty duvet in between 2 bedsheets and justify by saying they don’t have a duvet. This is what they provide. I have paid more than 6k for such servcie for 2Nights.5. Front Office staff is busy in chit chatting in reception area 4 people were idle standing and nobody even bothered to come to room to see what problem we were facing.Simply they sent one GSA from Housekeeping to see the issue where he was unable to understand our problem. FO staff not answering landline call later I have to call on mobile to tell them kindly send someone to rectify the issue.I hope you can address these issues and improve your service.Regards,Yashika

Well located in the city centre close to the Palace and other restaurants. Room, bedding and bathroom were neat and clean. I'm thankful that we were provided a room with twin beds. However a suggestion to the Hotel management would be to add a hair dryer in the bathroom, which makes it convenient for women travelers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall was a comfortable stay and felt safe for me & my mum. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is good and clean. I have reduced the rating because the value for money. It looks like i have paid for double bed and they have allotted for me single bed room which i got disappointed for the money i paid. Otherwise good.

Enjoyed the stay at The President Mysore short visit with family. Additional Pillow could help and Dental kit provision adds value. Rest we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel

The stay at The President Hotel, Mysuru was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards.To begin with, the room AC was not functioning upon arrival. While I was getting ready for an important meeting, repair work was carried out inside the room, causing unnecessary delays and discomfort. This level of unpreparedness is unacceptable for any hotel.Hygiene standards were deeply concerning. I witnessed kitchen staff moving in the elevator, carrying raw chicken and meat in an open paint bucket, completely uncovered. This raises serious concerns about food safety and basic sanitation practices.The dining experience was equally poor. Breakfast options were extremely limited, with only basic items like idli and bread available.Additionally, the restaurant appears to prioritize group bookings to such an extent that individual guests are neglected, with regular service practically unavailable during such times.To make matters worse, there were cockroaches moving around in the room’something that is completely unacceptable under any circumstances.What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. The front office team displayed a completely callous and indifferent approach when these issues were reported, showing no urgency or concern.Escalating the matter did not help either’the so-called MD lacked even the basic courtesy to listen or engage professionally.Overall, this stay reflected poor maintenance, questionable hygiene, and a complete lack of customer care.
