Itsy Hotels Greenland Jungle View

My stay at this hotel was very unsatisfactory. When I checked in, even though I had already paid half the booking amount, I was asked to pay the full remaining balance right away. The staff said it was hotel policy, but this was never mentioned during booking. The first room I got was in terrible shape: broken electrical sockets taped up, damaged curtain rods, walls covered in marks, and light bulbs wrapped in plastic. It was clear the room wasn’t well maintained. After I complained, I was moved to a second room, but the bathroom was dirty, unhygienic, and had broken fixtures, making it just as bad. The next day, after another complaint, I was moved to a third room, but was told this was the last room change and no more requests would be accepted, even though the issues were due to poor hotel upkeep. The third room was somewhat better but still had broken bathroom cabinets and visible mold, which is unacceptable for hygiene. The photos are misleading, and the furniture was dirty with marks. The mattress was so thin that my body (I weigh 80kg) touched the bottom plank, and they refused to replace it. Overall, the hotel is badly maintained, cleanliness is poor, and guest complaints were handled poorly. I would not suggest staying here until major improvements are made.

This hotel is the nearest to Utkal Hospital, with a perfect location rating of 10/10. However, the rooms show signs of aging and could use some renovation due to visible wear and tear.

A truly terrible stay. The room was a complete mess, infested with lice and bed bugs! There was no ventilation, so the air felt stale and hard to breathe. The cleaning was extremely poor. I will not return!

Service was good

This hotel lacks an elevator. I booked through Treebo Hotels and was assigned a room on the fourth floor. That's the only issue with the hotel; everything else is fine.
