Kaldan samudhra palace at a mahabalipuram provides truly a luxurious experience. Great hospitality right from when one steps in. Welcome music and dance by traditional folk dancers. Then we are taken to the palatial room with an awesome pool view ( Largest pool in tamilnadu).The food at Dhani is also top notch with lot of variety. The cakes need a special mention and taste heavenly.The lighting at the night is breathtaking and truly a marvel to witness.The kids club is well organized. Ashwathy from the kids club is very cheerful, efficient and engages kids with lot of care. She is proficient in arts and crafts, conducting karoake,mehendi etc.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Kaldan Samudhra Palace ’ Chills & Grills Restaurant, Mahabalipuram with my wife, and it truly turned out to be a memorable evening.My wife opted for the veg buffet while I went for the non-veg spread, and everything from start to finish was simply outstanding. From the comforting soup, to the delicious starters like calamari, chicken tandoori, fish fry, and lobster, every dish was cooked to perfection. The main course, especially the mutton curry and veg nutty pulao, was absolutely delightful. The drinks and desserts were equally impressive’honestly, everything was a 10/10.A special mention to Jathy, who served us with such warmth and attentiveness. She was incredibly hospitable and took extra care to ensure my pregnant wife was comfortable throughout the dinner, which we truly appreciated.The beach deck team deserves appreciation for creating such a lovely ambience by the sea. And the icing on the cake was the live music performance by Shaman and his colleague, whose soulful singing made the evening even more magical.All in all, a fantastic dining experience with great food, wonderful hospitality, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re spending an evening in Mahabalipuram.

I am writing this review to share my experience with the banquet team at Kaldan, specifically regarding Ms. Rathika. Unfortunately, her behavior towards clients was very rude and unprofessional. At one point, she even commented that my guests should ’have eating sense’ to avoid excess plate count, which was quite disrespectful and embarrassing in a hospitality setting.During the initial discussions, she appeared polite and cooperative, but once the contract was signed, her attitude changed significantly. In the hospitality industry, service and client care should be the top priority, but in this case, there was a constant focus on money and favours for even small requests. It did not reflect a service-oriented approach at all.I sincerely request the Kaldan management to look into this matter and advise their staff to treat guests with basic courtesy and humanity. For your kind information, this was my second event at Kaldan, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing.That said, I would like to appreciate Mr. Kadal Murugan and his team for doing a wonderful job with the food and arrangements. Everything on that front was perfect. It is unfortunate that the negative behavior of one person affected the overall impression of an otherwise well-organized event.Thank you.
