Daphne Hotel

A fantastic place to stay! The hotel was immaculate, well-kept, and provided a calm environment. The rooms were cozy, the staff very friendly, and the service outstanding. Everything went beyond what I expected. I would certainly suggest this hotel and am eager to return.

I reserved this hotel for a solo one-day staycation, and it ended up being one of the most tranquil experiences I've had. As someone traveling alone, I wanted a spot to enjoy some quality time by myself, unwind, and experience total calm. I found this hotel on Booking.com and booked it right away. The hotel is set a bit back from the main road, but the beach is only a 2–3 minute walk away, which is a big plus. The staff were very polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking, there is a secure parking area nearby within walking distance, so that wasn't a problem. The room was tidy, the bathroom spacious, and what I appreciated most was the serene atmosphere. It almost felt like I had the whole hotel to myself. There was no unnecessary noise, no disturbances, and no housekeeping interruptions. It was exactly the peaceful setting I was looking for. I truly believe every rupee spent on this stay was justified. I had a fantastic experience and have already decided this will be my top choice whenever I visit Mahabalipuram again or just need a quiet break from my routine. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a calm, relaxing, and comfortable stay.

The rooms and environment is good and calm with greens expect for the mosquitos at night. Overall experience is good.

I stayed here with my family and had a very enjoyable time. The check-in process was hassle-free, the rooms and bathrooms were tidy, hot water was accessible, and the property is surrounded by lush greenery with a lovely garden, balcony, and terrace, making it an ideal place to unwind or take photos. The non-AC room was cozy with nice wooden decor and ample space. The price of ₹1,000 for a non-AC room and about ₹2,000 for an AC room seemed a bit steep, but overall it's a comfortable and tranquil spot suitable for families and couples. The owners were welcoming and did not bother us during our stay.
