Beautiful resort with good food and excellent restaurant service

*3rd class Experience*I booked a stay at THE KAMAL FARM RESORT with my family but Unfortunately the overall experience was far below our expectations. The management was unprofessional, and several aspects of the stay reflected poor planning and maintenance.To begin with, the pickup point from the railway station was approximately 700 meters away, requiring guests to walk with their luggage to reach the vehicle. This was highly inconvenient and should have been communicated in advance.The food quality throughout our stay was disappointing. The taste, quality, and hygiene did not meet even basic expectations. In addition, the prices of cold drinks were unreasonably high.The room was also not properly maintained. The bathroom was in poor condition, and the blankets and bedsheets were old, torn, and damaged. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the room were unsatisfactory and made our stay very uncomfortable.Considering the amount charged for the stay, the services and facilities provided did not justify the cost. We feel that our money was wasted, and we are extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at Kamal Farm Resort due to poor management and misleading room information.The room shown to us in the pictures as a Super Deluxe Room was not what we actually received. We were told it was a deluxe room, but the overall condition was far below expectations. The bedsheets had visible damage that appeared to have been caused by mice, which was unhygienic and unacceptable.The bathroom was also poorly maintained, with part of the roof broken. On top of that, the staff's behavior was rude and unhelpful. Whenever we raised an issue, instead of assisting us, they repeatedly told us to contact the person who had arranged our booking. Even when we requested an extra pillow, we had to wait around 30 minutes for such a basic requirement.Overall, the stay was uncomfortable due to poor maintenance, unprofessional staff, and misleading room descriptions. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both the quality of the rooms and customer service so future guests do not have a similar experience.Special mention to miss sanchita bavdane who has mislead us about the room and food

Very Disappointing Experience ’ Not Worth the MoneyWe paid around ’21,000 for our stay, but the experience was far below expectations.We booked through a sales broker who shared photos of spacious Deluxe Rooms. However, after completing the payment, we were given a room that looked nothing like the advertised pictures. It was much smaller and poorly maintained. The bedsheet was dirty and torn, making us question the cleanliness.The room Wi-Fi never worked despite repeated complaints, and there was no follow-up from the staff.Another disappointing aspect was that every small purchase (water, soft drinks, etc.) required immediate payment instead of being settled at checkout, which is standard practice at most hotels. On top of that, items were sold well above MRP (e.g., a ’35 Thumbs Up was charged ’60).We were travelling with a senior citizen, but our room was located on a steep, slippery path, making access difficult and unsafe. Guests should be informed in advance or allocated suitable rooms.The resort also appeared understaffed’we had to carry our own luggage because no one was available to assist.We had booked for more guests, but two couldn’t join due to unavoidable reasons. There was no flexibility, only a reference to the terms and conditions. Also, several food items mentioned in the itinerary were either unavailable or never served.The complimentary drop to Asangaon Station was poorly managed. Despite informing reception about our checkout and train timing, we had to personally request the driver to arrange a vehicle. The driver was helpful and arranged an alternative vehicle, but this coordination should have been handled by the resort.The most disappointing part was the reception staff’s response to our concerns. Instead of addressing them professionally, we were told, No other guests have complained, only you are complaining. Genuine feedback should never be dismissed this way.Overall, the stay did not match what was advertised. Poor room quality, cleanliness issues, overpriced items, understaffing, unfulfilled promises, and unprofessional customer service made this one of the most disappointing resort experiences I’ve had.I would not recommend Kamal Farm Resort and suggest considering other options before booking
