Lake Forest Resort

I can't believe a place like this still exists. I traveled with my 3.5-year-old baby to celebrate my birthday, but booking this property through Agoda was a huge mistake. The property and room pictures on the website were completely different from reality. I faced many problems, and when I contacted Agoda, they connected me to the property. After explaining the issues, they said they couldn't help and told me to speak to the property manager. The manager left the office by 7:30 and didn't answer calls. The staff promised he would come in the morning, but we found out he had left for Mumbai. No one took responsibility or offered help. We suffered a lot. First, the room was not like the pictures, it wasn't clean, there were stains on the bedsheets, pillows without covers, and the private pool was very small and not properly cleaned. Second, the property is poorly maintained and dirty, with broken swimming pool tiles. Third, there were frequent power cuts and the Wi-Fi didn't work well in the rooms. Fourth, the indoor game room was terrible with only one table tennis table. Fifth, we were the only guests with our baby, and if the manager had known, he could have moved us to another property. Sixth, the staff politely rejected all our requests and only seemed punctual for breakfast, dinner, and checkout as they wanted to finish quickly. Seventh, no indoor activities were arranged. Lastly, the location is far from Mulshi, near the backwaters. I have shared many images but can't upload them here.

May be this the last booking I did through Agoda can't imagine this time of property still exists. I travel with my 3.5 old baby and to celebrate my bday but this time booked property via Agoda is my big mistake. The property and rooms pic were mentioned on website is totally different. The property Manager left the office by 7.30 he was not answering the calls. The staff promised he will come in morning but in morning we come to know he left for Mumbai. It was a nice stay. The location is very close to many treks and trails. The view from the rooms are really breath taking. The staff is very friendly.

The experience was terrible due to poor service, and the food was disappointing. The room was unpleasant to stay in, with very poor conditions like rusted fans and cockroaches. The support staff were unhelpful and kept blaming management. Overall, the property was poorly maintained and I would not suggest it for a family stay.
