Visited lake residency after many years. The basic structure of panaromic lake view rooms have stayed the same. Thankfully they have renovated the rooms. Also new rooms have been built to cater to tourist inflow.Location of the resort is awesome, especially view from panaromic rooms. Room size is big which can easily sleep 2 adults 2 kids.Booking and checkin experience was good. Got early check in on request. Check in is late at 2 pm which they should get down to 1 pm max.Breakfast is complimentary with a nice spread of South Indian n maharashtrian cuisine. Dosa n omelette on request.Restaurant has a bar for thirsty travellers.swimming pool, TT, pool table, carrom n more games are available.Views from the resorts are good and peaceful for a perfect monsoon trip.A good family destination if u are willing to pay a little premium.

Avoid if you value basic customer service.Paid guest. Never got to stay due to a documented medical emergency with my 2-year-old daughter. Reached out at 7 AM on the day of check-in with a hospital prescription, requesting a simple date shift to the following week, not a refund, not a cancellation, just a reschedule. Rooms were available on that date at the same rate on their own page. They declined. What the experience revealed about this property: zero customer empathy, no internal communication between front desk and reservations, and a reservation rep who was unreachable for two straight days across multiple calls. When finally reached, rude and dismissive. Agoda couldn't reach them either. The request simply died in their inbox. The resort presents itself well on paper, good rates, scenic location, reputable parent group. But the people running it day-to-day are simply not trained for hospitality. A property that can't handle a medical emergency with basic decency, and hides behind a 'policy' with zero consideration and unresponsiveness, is not worth your trust or your money.Avoid.

Sometimes, all you need is a quiet pause from the chaos, and Residency was exactly that for me. Tucked away amidst the lush Sahyadris with the most calming lake views, this felt less like a resort stay and more like a reset button. What I loved most was how effortlessly luxury blends into nature here. Slow mornings with a view, long walks around the property, moments of doing absolutely nothing, and not feeling guilty about it. The cottages are beautifully done, the food is comforting and thoughtfully curated, and the overall atmosphere encourages you to truly switch off.The hospitality deserves a special mention ’ warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling intrusive. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or simply craving some much-needed downtime, Residency creates the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’ve checked out.A hidden gem near Pune that reminds you to slow down, breathe deeper, and enjoy life’s quieter moments. ’’’??

Location: Peaceful lake and hill views, ideal for relaxation. Good greenery maintained.Rooms: Spacious, cozy interiors; panoramic rooms. some rooms need stair climb. Slightly expensive.Food: Tasty buffet; limited non-veg options but super yummy. Slightly expensive.Service: Polite, attentive staff; quick response to needs.Facilities: Pool, spa, lawns, indoor games,Overall: A serene, well-maintained inclusive retreat with good food and service, perfect for nature-oriented getaways.Plz note: During peak seasons and school holidays, the atmosphere can become chattery, loud, and chaotic due to guests shouting, talking loudly, and children running, yelling, or crying. In such times, the experience may feel not worth the money. This is not a management issue, but rather guest behavior. If you enjoy noisy environments, it may still suit you; otherwise, it can be disruptive.

We had a wonderful stay at Residency Lake Resort & Spa with our family of 4 adults and 1 child. The resort offers beautiful lake views, comfortable and well-maintained rooms with all the standard amenities, and lush green lawns that create a relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was excellent, especially the separate baby pool for children, which was a great addition for families. The food was delicious, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional.A special mention to Mr. Ajit and Mr. Vishnu for their warm hospitality and outstanding service in the dining area. They truly made our experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and would love to visit again.
