We recently had a stay with Lazo arecca resorts booked through this platform. We had a pleasant experience with the Resort ambience and greenery environment all around. Worth for money. Food is Good but varieties are missing. Location in slightly interior from Madikkeri town and it is manageable. Overall it is worth for price.
The resort itself is beautiful, green, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, and recreational facilities like badminton and carrom were a nice addition. The cottages also looked very attractive and seemed to offer a much better experience.A special mention to the resort staff, particularly the two young boys who were extremely polite, helpful, and hospitable throughout our stay. Their positive attitude and willingness to assist guests were genuinely appreciated and added a pleasant touch to our experience.However, our stay in the so-called Superior Room (Room S109) was extremely disappointing. In fact, it was the worst room we stayed in among all three hotels during our Coorg trip and felt below the standards of even many basic 3-star hotels.Issues observed in Room S109:• Toilet seat was broken.• No door handle on the inside of the bathroom door, making it difficult to open from within.• Shower water flow was very poor.• Bathroom door hinges were damaged, preventing the door from closing properly.• Window was loose and wobbling.• Multiple electrical switches, including AC controls and power sockets, were not functioning properly.• Room lighting was inadequate and did not provide the ambience expected from a resort stay.• Walls showed signs of dampness.• Mattress had an unpleasant smell, and the comforter smelled like urine.• Spider webs were present in several areas, including the main door, cupboard, and ceiling fan.Overall, while the resort property, surroundings, and staff are excellent, the condition of Superior Room S109 was unacceptable and certainly not worth the price charged.
