Lemon Tree Hotel, Dapoli

Let me bring up the cons first, as these are important for any user.1) This place is off the grid, really. Evidently, only Vodafone network works. If you have Airtel or Jio, you are completely off the network. So you will be dependent on the resort's wifi for any connection with the outside world. And that wifi is sketchy. At least it was when I was there, It won't work outside your room, and kept getting disconnected every now and then and I needed to call reception for help. 2) The entry to the hotel may take you aback a bit. It's a steep incline. Nothing above 1st gear will work when you are driving up, out of the hotel. Was not a problem for me, but it scared by wife to bits. 3) The team are tad slow in requests. Like I said I had to keep calling for help with wifi.4) The "health center" is a mess. If you are the gym freak you like working out during vacations, you might consider push ups in your room... or simply a game of badmiton rather than try the equipments. This was not a problem for me of course. Happy to stay away from any workout.5) The place is distant from anything you might want to check out. So you either drive a distance or stay in. Now, the PROS1) It actually is a cool place. The rooms are good. they provide you with dental kits etc. Helps if you are a bad packer. 2) The game room is a major plus if you are travelling with kids. My son dug the foosball table, and I got to show off some pool skills. They have TT, Chess, Carrom etc. And like I mentioned earlier, badminton. 3) The biggest boon: I was happy with the breakfast spread. From Sausages to Donuts, eggs to puri bhaji, they had the spread. I could stay there again. If I plan better and expect no phone calls from office. This time, I hd some 25 missed calls from work, all of that I found when I realised Dapoli.

The only positive aspect was the friendly staff. The resort gives off an unsettling feeling with strange paintings scattered throughout. The overall atmosphere is very negative, particularly in the building at the far end of the resort. They definitely require better management and the place needs significant improvements.

Our stay at Lemon Tree, Dapoli was fantastic. One of the standout features was the stunning sea view from our room. Waking up to such a beautiful scene, with lush greenery and the serene sea around us, made the stay very special. The weather was wonderful throughout our visit, enhancing the calm and relaxing vibe. The property was well kept, and it was clear that the hotel management and staff put great effort into maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. In summary, it was a refreshing and unforgettable experience in a lovely setting. This is an ideal spot for anyone wanting to relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Dapoli. I would definitely suggest Lemon Tree, Dapoli for a tranquil retreat!

The hotel is situated around 20 minutes from Dapoli town. Network coverage is only available through BSNL. The property requires maintenance. The rooms are large but the interiors are outdated and worn out. Towels had stains, and the TV was not functioning properly. The food offered a good variety, with quality above average but not excellent. The swimming pool was small and dirty, so we chose not to use it. The games area was very disappointing. The fitness center needs a complete renovation as all the equipment was broken or rusted. The staff was very helpful. Overall, the stay was quite average.

An excellent experience.
