Mango Tree Courtyard Dehradun

Recently stayed here, a beautifully restored heritage home converted into a hotel. The property has a charming vintage feel, and overall structural maintenance of the building is good.The staff were very polite, courteous, and well-mannered. However, they appeared to lack proper hospitality training, possibly because many are not from a formal hotel background. With structured training, service standards can improve significantly.The food was average in taste and did not quite match the expectations set by the heritage positioning of the property.I faced a few concerning issues in my room. The window curtain rod fell on me’luckily, I was not injured. Additionally, the WC hand flush was not working, and despite informing the staff, the issue was not addressed during my stay. These are basic maintenance issues that require immediate attention.Another important observation was that after 10:30 PM, most of the building lights were switched off. When I stepped out of my room to see off a friend who had come to meet me, the entire property felt poorly lit and, honestly, quite unsettling’almost haunted in appearance. This is not the kind of experience one expects from a hotel, especially concerning guest comfort and safety.Also, there is no bell desk staff available to assist with luggage unless you specifically call and ask for help, which again impacts the overall guest experience.Overall, the property has good potential due to its heritage appeal, but improvements are needed in lighting management, room maintenance, food quality, staff training, and basic guest services to truly deliver a comfortable stay.

It is a poorly maintained place. It was booked seeing the aesthetics and the high rating. However, as soon as we entered, it was visible that it is a poorly kept homestay by some stingy person who doesn't know the abc of hospitality industry. No mineral water in this day and age.. no toiletries.. broken faucet holder, leaking bathroom doors, etc. I got to eat the breakfast, which was not lavish like many other places at this price but it was served hot, hygienically and reasonably good. However, the price they are charging for this place is exorbitantly high.. Much improvement is needed regarding services from the owners. The staff was polite and good.. It is shown as a luxury stay but maintained as a local hotel.

Staying at Mango Tree Courtyard was truly a wonderful experience! The place has such a calm and homely vibe that it instantly feels like your second home in Dehradun. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the entire property gives a perfect blend of nature and comfort.A special mention to Bharat Sir and Sureshji Sir ’ their hospitality was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From helping us arrange a rental vehicle to explore Dehradun to even booking a taxi to the airport, they made everything effortless. Their warmth, care, and attention to detail truly made the difference.If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming stay in Dehradun with hosts who treat you like family, Mango Tree Courtyard is the perfect place. This place is like going back to your cherished childhood memories. It will take you back in time to when holidays meant visiting and being pampered at your grand parents place. It quietly offers you the time to slow down, sit back and take a pause from the rush of daily life. Ms. Sharan and her son were wonderful hosts and have an exceptional team of warm and diligent staff who together make the stay excellent. Not to forget the very able paw friends Pablo and Kaiser who will make sure you have the best stay. :)

Good And Clean Rooms, Nice food and hotel at nearby CLOCK TOWER about 1 km Parking available at MANGO TREE. FOOD is amazing.Room size small, OK for 2 person stay...For family need to upgrade room size..
