Nestled amidst the serene backdrop of the Tawa Dam, MPT Tawa Resort offers a genuinely pleasant stay with some breathtaking natural beauty. However, a few operational issues keep it from being a perfect experience.The Good:The sunset view here is nothing short of stupendous ’ easily one of the highlights of the entire stay. The dam view is calm and picturesque, making it ideal for those who enjoy quiet, nature-facing experiences. The cuisine deserves a special mention ’ well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying throughout. The overall ambience and setting of the resort is peaceful and well-maintained.A Special Thanks:A heartfelt thank you to Shri Harinarayan Sonare ji and Shri Ashok Yadav ji, whose warm hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care made a real difference to our stay. Both of them went out of their way to ensure that guests felt welcomed and well looked after at every step.The Restaurant Department deserves a very special mention. Chef Sahoo ji has done a truly marvelous job ’ the food was consistently excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and a highlight of the entire stay. Equally commendable are Akhilesh ji and Sujal ji, whose service at the restaurant was attentive, cheerful, and prompt. These three together make the dining experience at MPT Tawa Resort genuinely memorable and worth praising. The resort is fortunate to have such a passionate and hardworking team in the kitchen and at the table.The Disappointment:The main attraction ’ boating ’ is currently closed, which is a significant letdown given that it is the primary reason most visitors choose this resort. Prospective guests should confirm its status before booking.A Word on Contact & Access:MPT Tawa Resort lists two phone numbers on their website. One connects you to "Amanya," who is helpful, but the second number ’ listed after Mr. Awasthi's name ’ goes unanswered, and this remains consistent from the date of booking right through to arrival. This needs urgent attention from the management.Important Advisory for First-Time Visitors:Do NOT approach the resort from the dam side. Entry from that route requires a special pass, and unfortunately, the resort does not proactively send anyone to assist or resolve the situation on-ground. If you face this issue, you will need to directly contact Madhya Pradesh Tourism to sort it out ’ which is an unnecessary hassle, especially after a long journey. Approach from the correct designated route to avoid this inconvenience entirely.Bottom Line:A beautiful destination with good food, stunning views, and a relaxing atmosphere. The people who truly make this resort shine are Harinarayan Sonare ji, Ashok Yadav ji, Chef Sahoo ji, Akhilesh ji, and Sujal ji ’ each of them an asset and a credit to MPT Tawa Resort. However, with boating closed, an unresponsive contact number, and an access confusion that management does little to resolve, there is clear scope for improvement. With a few fixes, this resort has the potential to be truly outstanding.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The view was beautiful and the entire vibe was calm and peaceful’perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was absolutely delicious, and the housekeeping staff was very supportive and attentive.We traveled with our 1-year-old baby, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They even ensured the food was baby-friendly, which we truly appreciated.The only minor issue was the WiFi connectivity, likely due to the location being on the outskirts. However, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.Overall, it’s a wonderful and peaceful place for a vacation. Highly recommended!

A very good vacation destination.Their are 4 room categoriesStandard AC - Smallest room size for budget couples or a couple with toddler. These rooms do not have a seperate changing space. This room has 2 feet of space around the bed.AC delux - A spacious room with approx 20 by 16 dimensions. A changing space of about 6 by 9 and bathroom of size 6 by 9 foots.Then there are 2 more categories AC super delux and suit with little bit more space in room.All AC standard are on back side with forest view.Few AC delux are forest view and some dam viewAll super dlx and suits are dam view.Propert has a good well maintained swimming pool with max 4 feet depth.They have a small play area as well for kids.A small recreation area with some Indore games and some outdoor games like bedminton, etc. will add value to the place.Breakfast, lunch, dinner and high tea is included in all category room tarrif. Restaurent serves hygienic, tasty and veriety of food.Mostly staff is helpful and polite.The only lower side which one can notice is spider webs on outer walls and ceilings. Same thing in some areas of bathrooms as well. Not a big thing to worry.

Myself and my husband both are eye specialists visited the resort with 12 other doctor friends , stayed for one night.Our stay was great, comfortable and excellent.Infrastructure is clean, well maintained, healthy, very well maintained. Rooms doesn't have any lacuna.fully equipped with all amenities.Food was hygienic, kitchen very well arranged. Menu has varieties and tasteful.Dinner was special arranged infront of dam with local delicious food as Ber soup, gattey ki sabji in earthen pots with chicken curry millet roti freshly prepared on tawa. Desert has imarti.nd some local sweets.Staff is very cooperative and courteous. Prompt attention and services provided.Thanks to Mr Awasthi, yogesh and manish for their dynamic management.Very well managed resort, love to visit again.

Wonderful family stay with warm hospitality!We had a truly memorable stay at MPT Tawa Resort. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were extremely caring, attentive, and friendly, which gave us a very comfortable, homely feeling throughout our stay.The food was another highlight ’ it was delicious, freshly prepared, and served hot every time. We really enjoyed the quality and taste of the meals.The resort also offers breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset, which made our experience even more special and relaxing. The infinity pool experience was amazing ’ relaxing in the pool while enjoying the scenic views was truly refreshing and added great value to our stay.We highly recommend MPT Tawa Resort to everyone looking for a peaceful stay with amazing hospitality, great food, and beautiful natural views. We would definitely love to visit again!
