I had a truly relaxing stay at Nahar Spa & Retreat. The staff were warm and attentive, the surroundings serene. Room was super spacious and comfortable with nice views.

Nestled in a peaceful location surrounded by lush greenery, this property offers a scenic escape from the usual crowd. We stayed in the Regal Room (approx. ’10,000/night) ’ and the experience was flawless from start to finish.The room was beautifully designed with cozy lighting, a pristine bed, and a clean, well-equipped bathroom featuring a bathtub, hair dryer, and premium toiletries. The private balcony offered a stunning view, and to our surprise, we even spotted a few monkeys and a peacock right from the balcony ’ a rare and delightful touch of nature!The breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared, and served with care. The property itself is tastefully maintained with fine detailing ’ from the interiors to the gorgeous manicured lawn, everything added to the charm. It's a very classy and thoughtfully designed retreat, making it absolutely worth the price.The only area that needs improvement is the lunch/dinner menu, which had limited options and didn’t quite match the excellence of the rest of the experience. If the food variety and taste are improved, this would be a near-perfect hill station stay.Still, if you're visiting Kotagiri and want a peaceful, elegant, and nature-filled stay ’ this place is highly recommended

Nice view from the balcony. Room size is small. Only vegetarian food available. Food is very good but the food and stay is on the expensive side. Located in main Kotagiri town itself. Easy approach. Good service too.

stayed for 1 day on 7/6.An average stay.Preferred this place as it is vegetarian.Location is good but the access from the city center is through a small road and dirty. Inside the facility is neat and clean. The reception is warm and willing to assist.Rooms are neat and clean ,medium size.We have taken a Royale one with balcony.Lunch and dinner were average.Breakfast was good with traditional South Indian dishes but a minimum variety.With the high cost the overall stay was below expectation.The room notice and the reception info on extra payment for late checkout was annoying.The complementary breakfast was supposed to be at 8.30am(normally all hotels start by 7.30am) and couldn't find them ready by then.Finally ready by 9amA better stay at the same cost would be preferable and would recommend to opt for better options wrt cost

Perfect location for a relaxing stay !!!Well maintained property. Offering a pure veg restaurant Prana inside the property. Very good nice health friendly foods with good service. Inhouse guests gets complimentary breakfast. Normally the restaurant offers north south chinese dishes which is made up of inhouse well water - natural spring + possible ingredients are own home grown when I speak to the proprietor of this property. If needed earlier breakfast, inform the previous day abd you walk in to the restaurant earlier than the breakfast time ’’
