OCEANATURE ALIBAUG

We paid ₹17,000 for a 1 BHK room, but the stay did not match the resort's advertisements at all. In my view, this place is only worth about ₹5,000. The room was very dirty—probably the worst I've ever encountered. The bedsheets, pillow covers, and towels, which should have been clean and white, were old, yellowed, stained, and unhygienic. The pillows and towels were low quality, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The bathrooms were just as bad, not cleaned well, with very poor water pressure and lacking basic hygiene. The kitchen sink and counter inside the room were also dirty, suggesting the room wasn't cleaned before we arrived. The resort claims to be 3-star or higher, but the breakfast was very disappointing. There were only two buffet items—poha and upma—and the only made-to-order dish was an omelette. No dosas or other typical breakfast items expected at this price. The idlis were hard like stones and clearly not fresh. The breakfast was terrible. The food quality and taste during the stay were also poor, and slow, unprofessional service made it worse. The only good thing was the pool area, which was clean and fairly well kept. But even that was ruined by very restrictive pool hours—guests can't use the pool after 7:30 PM, which is unreasonable for a leisure resort in a tourist spot like Alibaug. Most resorts let guests use the pool until 10 or 11 PM. Overall, this place is hugely overpriced, badly maintained, and lacks basic hospitality. Cleanliness, room condition, bathrooms, food, breakfast, and service all failed to meet expectations. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone, especially given the high price. There are much better options in Alibaug for much less.

We had a great stay here with excellent service

The stay was pleasant.

An excellent spot to stay in Alibaug! The property is beautiful and green, featuring a clean pool. The Nutmeg rooms are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the service is very accommodating. Mangroove restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere as well. All in all, a delightful and restful experience!
