Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug, A Club Mahindra Associate

The rooms were large and tidy. However, the dining experience was awful. There was no seating available, so people had to eat while standing. The buffet was often empty because the kitchen staff couldn't keep up with the number of guests. Whenever food was replenished, it was quickly taken and finished within seconds. They need to hire more kitchen staff and expand seating to match the number of guests. I imagine weekends would be even more chaotic; we stayed on a weekday.

Tropicana Resort & Spa, a Club Mahindra property, is set in a peaceful hillside area surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are large, well-designed, and equipped for a comfortable stay. The swimming pools are well kept and supervised by lifeguards, making them suitable for families. The Happy Hub offers activities for both children and adults, while the open-air bar and restaurant provide a great atmosphere, tasty food, and attentive service. The resort's layout is tidy, scenic, and calming, perfect for a tranquil retreat. However, some aspects need improvement. Service can sometimes be slow, and staff, particularly at the spa, could use more training since the spa experience does not match its cost. The resort is situated away from the main town, which makes transportation a bit difficult. Additionally, there are few or no clear Club Mahindra signs from the town, making it hard for first-time guests to find the resort. While the food quality is very good, prices tend to be high. In summary, this property boasts excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings, and comfortable rooms. Enhancing service speed, staff training, clearer signage, and more reasonable spa and food prices would make the guest experience even better.

Our visit to Club Mahindra Tropicana from July 20th to 22nd, 2026, became one of the most unforgettable family trips we've experienced. The standout feature of this lovely place is definitely its staff. Their kindness, hospitality, and sincere readiness to assist made our stay very special. Every request was answered with a smile, and "no" was never an option—it was always a positive "we'll make it happen." Special thanks to Sneha at the Front Desk, who was very helpful from booking through to the end of our stay. Appreciation also goes to Akshay, Nikhil, and Aakash for their polite service and ongoing support. We are especially grateful to Kalpesh Ji and the entire Food & Beverages team. One evening, we casually asked for fresh Vada Pav, and to our delight, our wish was granted the next day. These thoughtful acts turn a good holiday into an unforgettable one. The Happy Hub has great potential to improve with more activities and play options for kids. Though the area is small now, Shweta and Gaurav did a fantastic job entertaining everyone with their lovely singing and lively spirit. The Housekeeping team also deserves praise for being quick, attentive, and keeping the rooms in excellent condition throughout our stay. I would strongly recommend Club Mahindra Tropicana for a family trip. The staff and their heartfelt hospitality truly set this place apart. While Club Mahindra management could enhance the amenities and recreational options, I sincerely believe that once these upgrades happen, Tropicana could become one of the best Club Mahindra resorts—especially for families from Mumbai seeking quick, relaxing breaks. Thanks to the whole team for your warmth, care, and kindness. You didn’t just host us—you made us feel at home. These wonderful memories will stay with me and my family for many years. We eagerly await our next visit!

Everything was good except the breakfast facilities. The breakfast arrangement was chaotic and could have been much better.

I had higher expectations from a Club Mahindra property. The staff on site is excellent.
