The location was good for new market and park street areas. The room was clean overall but the building and the room have not been painted in a long time so everything feels dated. Not bad for the price.

Stayed at Seacom Inn YMCA Esplanade. It's not a luxury hotel, it's a heritage experience. Very old building with vintage charm, wooden stairs, high ceilings and antique touches.Location 10/10: 100 meters from New Market, 500 meters from Park Street Metro and Esplanade Metro. You can walk to Indian Museum, Hogg Market for authentic Bengal saris, Burra Bazar, everything is walkable. Perfect for shopping.Rooms are big and clean for the price, AC works, private bathroom with toiletries, kettle. Some sheets were a bit old but clean.Staff are friendly and helpful. Vintage charm. Best for shoppers and solo travelers who want to be in the heart of Esplanade.
