While the staff, facilities, cleanniness and service are good, certain things really annoyed me.1. The Baga beach is 1 km away from the hotel, and not as mentioned.2. It was drizzling in the morning, I had to go out, so I requested for an umbrella, and they flatly refused.Last time I stayed in Aralea Resort, each room had 2 unbrellas, outside the room, we need not go and beg for an umbrella.3. To get back to the airport, we had booked a cab through a local operator. When the cab arrived, the local goonda taxi operators threatened the driver, and sent him back. They also threatened us, saying that unless you hire their cabs, we cannot leave Goa. We did not succumb to their threatining, took a 200 mtr walk, with the heavy luggage, and hired another cab. All this happened under the eyes of the hotel staff, and no one came to help us. The Hotel Mangement is hand in glove with the thug drivers, and I strongly condemn their attitude. Never again will I enter this hotel, just for this reason.
A peaceful resort hidden in a quiet spot, offering flawless atmosphere and service! Definitely worth experiencing, with special appreciation to Kiran and the entire team!
