Royal Orchid Central Pune

I stayed at Royal Orchid Hotel Pune recently and had a very disappointing experience. From the start, the room facilities were not working properly. Despite staff moving us to three different rooms over the course of our stay, the underlying problems persisted and were never resolved.Problems encountered:Multiple roomAC not functioning that affected comfort and safety.Repeated room changes (three times) with no improvement.Poor resolution from staff ’ issues were acknowledged but not fixed.Significant inconvenience and stress due to lack of a working room after repeated moves.This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. I expected a prompt, permanent fix or at least a proper upgrade/compensation after being moved multiple times. Instead, we were left dealing with unresolved issues throughout our stay.I do not recommend Royal Orchid Hotel Pune TO ANYONE. If you plan to stay here, confirm room conditions on arrival and insist on a proper solution or compensation if things aren’t WORKING as they dont take concerns seriously

Not worth ’6,000 at all. The biggest issue was that the AC was not working properly, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. For the amount charged, basic facilities should function without any problems.I had a very disappointing experience. The room maintenance was below expectations, and despite informing the staff about the AC issue, there was no satisfactory resolution. Spending a night in a room without proper cooling is unacceptable, especially in a hotel that charges premium rates.The service response was slow, and overall the stay did not provide value for money. Guests paying ’6,000 per night expect comfort, cleanliness, and working amenities, but unfortunately that was not my experience.I hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and improves the maintenance of rooms, particularly the air conditioning systems. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would choose other options in Pune.

Ive stayed with multiple hotels across India but this has to be THE WORSE experience of my life. The Air conditioning of the entire property was down. The staff was not helpful. I had to order basic things like water multiple times and yet I didn't recieve it. The curtain fell down the minute I tried to open. Bathroom had hair all over. Towels were dirty and smelled. Management just said a mere sorry and no action was taken. They said they can transfer me to a sister property but it was a basic room without a pool or bathtub and which costed much less than what I had paid for. Food options are very limited and the management is very unhelpful. I would really appeal the higher management to look into this behavior and hold up to the standards of a 4 star property.

Was here in the third week of May 2026.Service, food and services were average.Pool and gym are decent.AC was non existent throughout the hotel for the entirety of the week I was there. Not maintained well - all guests were complaining and they took no action. They just kept saying it’s working fine.After a long day of work, one would expect to relax in a nice cozy room, not sweat in the room.I wouldn’t stay here again.Pro Tip - Go check the room before you check in. And don’t believe a word they say!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The check-in process was smooth, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. The room service staff was also courteous and did a good job.However, our overall experience as a leisure stay was disappointing, mainly due to poor service and lack of professionalism.We had a very unpleasant experience with the pool area. Since our room had a pool view, we noticed the pool was not clean. We called reception around 10:00am requesting it to be cleaned and were assured it would be taken care of. Despite multiple follow-ups and vague excuses, nothing was done. At around 2:15pm, we were told we could go ahead and use the pool.When we reached, it was clearly still unclean. Unfortunately, we were already in swimming attire, and there was no staff available to assist, so we had no choice but to use it. Afterward, we raised this concern at reception, only to be met with a rude and dismissive response, saying they never confirmed it was clean - only that we could use it. This was highly unprofessional and disappointing.Additionally, the staff (apart from check-in and room service) lacked basic courtesy and were not polite in their interactions. There was poor communication, lack of accountability, and no proactive effort to resolve guest concerns. For a property catering to leisure stays, such negligence and attitude significantly impact the experience.Overall, while the rooms and a few staff members were good, the poor service, especially around the pool area and reception handling, made our stay unsatisfactory.
